Setting Sail: A Laid-Back Start to the Day

The sun was just beginning to rise over Panama City as I made my way to the marina, the salty breeze already hinting at the adventures to come. The check-in was at 8 o’clock, but I found myself with a bit of time to spare, wandering around the marina, snapping a few photos with the iconic PANAMA sign. I indulged in some local ceviche and a piña colada, savoring the flavors as I relaxed on the beach. The clear water and abundance of shells made for a perfect afternoon of beachcombing and sunbathing.

As we boarded the catamaran once more, a delicious lunch awaited us. The spread was impressive, with pasta, mashed potatoes, rice, salad, and chicken, all perfectly seasoned and satisfying. The drinks continued to flow, and the atmosphere was one of camaraderie and joy. I found myself in conversation with Ron, one of the crew members, who shared fascinating insights about Panama City and its vibrant culture.

The journey back to the marina was a leisurely one, with the sun casting golden hues over the water. We sailed along the east coast, taking in the stunning views of the city skyline. It was the perfect way to end a day of adventure and relaxation. By the time we docked, I felt rejuvenated, my spirit lifted by the ocean’s embrace and the warmth of the people I had met.
