Itinerary of the Tour:
Visit to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the iconic region of Pisa, and lunch in a typical Tuscan family-run farm, which uses only genuine products.
• At 8.00 am, our English speaking driver will be waiting for you outside the Cruise Terminal in Livorno
• We will move on a private tour to Pisa, where you will have time to admire and photograph the famous Leaning Tower and other monuments in the square including the Baptistery and the Cathedral. The Tower began to tilt during construction in the 12th century, due to the soft ground that could not adequately support the weight of the structure, and worsened with the completion of the works in the 14th century. The structure was stabilized by repair work between 1993 and 2001, which reduced the slope to 3.97 degrees. Climbing to the top of the leaning tower of Pisa is a unique experience and offers a very nice view over the city.
• Then we will move to the Chianti wine region. We will pass through vineyards, olive trees, fields of sunflowers and rows of cypresses where we will stop to take some beautiful photos.
• Once at the farm we will take a tour of the vineyards and visit the cellars.
• After the visit, the experience will begin with lunch and 5 delicious wine tastings. We will eat a typical three-course Tuscan lunch with homemade pasta, cold cuts and pecorino cheese.
We will taste 5 types of wines for an experience of unique flavors.
• The return to the cruise ship is scheduled for 4 pm

Plan for the Day:
• Commence your day with a pickup from your Cruise Ship at the Livorno port by our chauffeur
• In the forenoon, we mark our visit to the town of Pisa to marvel at the staggering Leaning Tower. The colossal Baptistery and the Cathedral in the same plaza as the Tower are not to be missed.
• Later, we will navigate through the renowned Chianti region, marked by its signature undulating hills, sunflower stands, avenues lined by cypresses, and ancient settlements.
• Our journey takes us via the wine route, in and out of the Chianti vineyards.
• Around noon, we’ll dine at a classic Tuscan farm, relishing home-cooked pasta, Pecorino cheese, Ham, and the finest Wines from our Region.
• Before lunch, we’re scheduled to explore the vineyards, step into the cellar, and unravel the mystery behind the production of Chianti wine.
• The tour concludes at 4pm.
