10/10 recommended for anyone coming to Cancun - Great experience. Atmosphere and experience was well worth the price. Staff was very friendly and the night show was very impressive with alot of cultural history.

Best park - This park is just amazing. The sea activities are at a very good price so if you can afford it, they have the best price to swim with the dolphins. The other activities aren’t for everyone so choose carefully cuz once you pay, it’s nonrefundable. The lazy river is a workout but definitely fun. The food is amazing and you have many restaurants to choose from and the shows are just outstanding. I highly recommend! Angelica, our guide was also great.

Park too beautiful - The park is beautiful and worth the walk. Wonderful evening show. We chose to pay for dinner during the show, and we did not regret it. The paid attractions apart are the most interesting.

X carat - amazing but expensive - Its amazing but super expensive once in so just know... we spent over £500 for excursions inside :) The entry and staff were fab but once in you have to buy extras if you ant to experience some more stuff. we did the dolphins and manta ray swim was fab but its expensive... The pics are the price of gold unless you have the band that is also sold to get unlimited pics but dolphins is not included so i paid £200 for those pics extra after all I already paid.

Great one time trip - The park is beautiful. There is so much to do. The animals, aviary, and water activities are all super fun. I thought the buffet was decent but I wished they had more Mexican food options. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I will say a majority of the bus ride and instructions on the ride there were in Spanish and it would be so nice if they could provide a laminated paper of instructions in English to give to the others who would like to see what to do in English. The park can be super confusing if you don’t have your bus driver give you the instructions prior. The show at the end of the night was too late and way too long. An hour would have been plenty. I also didn't like that there were only two bus time options (4 which is way too early) or 9:40pm which is way too late. With how much money it is there should be another option around 7pm for those who do not want to watch the 2.5 hour long show. Overall it was an amazing one time experience but I probably wouldn’t go again.

Nice, but I Expected More - The driver showed up almost an hour late with no explanation as to why. While we enjoyed the park, there isn’t much to do unless you’re paying for all of the extras that are not included in the price that you paid. It was ok but I was expecting more for the price that I got. The food at the restaurant was delicious.

Extortion! Do not bother! - Sorry to say but what an absolute rip off!! Sooo expensive for what it is.. a glorified zoo. We booked via the hotel via a TUI rep who sold it to us sounding much more than what we experienced sadly. Firstly on entry they give you no information at all.. no map no guidance no nothing. So you're left trying to figure out where the hell you are and how to get to everything. Its massive and tbh difficult to find your way around.. a hell of a lot of walking between attractions. It's hugely commercialised and feels like they try to milk you for every penny you have.. most things are at an extra cost so the price is completely unjustified. We paid extra for photos as you have to leave your bag in a locker and difficult to return in the time frame. Lunch is included which we must say was delicious and a lovely variety with nice drinks. But your choice is to either get picked up at 4ish or 9/10pm.. admittedly we missed the night show which is half of the ticket so that's our fault, and no doubt would have improved our experience but when you already pay a huge amount for a ticket each and then dinner/drinks aren't included it would end up being a ridiculous cost. Plus such a long and tiring day, barely anywhere to sit or rest in the heat. Sadly had a pretty rubbish experience came away disappointed and felt ripped off.

Waste of money! - I literally never leave reviews…but this seemed necessary after the amount we paid for a tragic day! We booked Xcaret after having a brilliant day at Xplor, perhaps wrongly presuming it’ll be as fun packed. Upon arriving, we queued for 25 minutes to activate our photo pass at the bungalow at the front entrance, to be told we didn’t need to and just to scan our wristband. Entering into the park, we queued to have our photos took with parrots by a photographer who then told us our pass wasn’t linked to our band. We then stood in another queue back in reception area for another 25 minute queue to activate our photopass. Here is where we realised everything advertised in the park was at an additional $75 each activity per person!!! Gutted with this, we decided we’d pay for the Sea Trek. At this point the park was heaving! After a wasteful hour of queuing we finally got to the lockers. (Xplor was incredibly more organised and a smoother process, including much more in equipment!!!). We proceeded to the river which was barely moveable with the amount of people in there and queuing for every photo opportunity made it seem an inconvenience to everyone around you having to awkwardly wait for your picture. Then went to the snorkelling to find not even one fish in the area, which I’m not surprised with the amount of people who were walking about in the area…looking at rocks didn’t have the same effect!! However, trying to not dampen our mood and went to our Sea Trek activity. This was unbelievable and so much fun. However it seemed to be a conveyer belt system and the workers wanted you out quickly. This lasted only 20 minutes when advertised as a half an hour experience in the prior talk. 20 minutes for $75 seems extortionate! When questioned about the duration to a worker, we were quickly ushered away from the next batch of people coming through and dismissed. This seemed incredibly unfair. We looked at the map on what to do next and realised there was no activities left to do! We looked around the aviary, Mayan markets, butterflies, some sea animals and pumas (there wasn’t any visible). Everything was too cramped to see with people pushing everywhere. All stadiums were empty with no schedule to see when shows were on. We decided we were bored after a couple of hours (of mainly queueing!!) and paid for a taxi home, which shock…was stupidly expensive from the Xcaret taxi rank - $42 for a 12 minute journey! This day cost $600 for two of us. We feel we were massively ripped off and could have spent that holiday money on something so much worthwhile. Really disappointing experience.
