Unexpected gem! - If you’re a wine enthusiast seeking an intimate and romantic escape, the “Vino de México Xcaret” wine cellar tour is an absolute must. This hidden gem, nestled beneath Xcaret’s Main Plaza, offers a private experience perfect for a quick getaway with your significant other. Walking through its underground corridors and stone-carved chambers, you’ll discover over 180 labels of fine Mexican wines, preserving more than 400 years of history. I can’t emphasize enough how exceptional this experience was! Arturo and his team truly showcase the best of what Xcaret has to offer, providing unparalleled hospitality and expertise. Their passion for Mexican wine and culture transforms the tour into an unforgettable journey, making it a standout attraction within the park. Don’t miss the opportunity to indulge in this extraordinary experience—it’s a testament to the rich heritage and exquisite flavors of Mexican wine.

Gorgeous views! - The park is so beautiful and there’s so many activities to do. The show was so much fun and beautifully set up. They have tons of showers and changing areas to get out of wet clothes. Would definitely recommend for anyone curious. 🙂

Unique park..well worth the visit! - We were picked up by a van at our resort in Cancun and transported to a bus station where we got on an Xcaret bus. On the bus ride the Xcaret guide thoroughly explained how to secure your belongings in a security bag when you swam on the underground river. The security bag is then transported to the end of the river for you to pick up. This park has many animals, Mayan ruins and water activities like swimming with the dolphins and meeting the sharks. It is laid out like Disney World, but definitely very unique. We stayed for the night show that started at 7pm.. it was well worth it! We didn’t get back to our resort until 11pm so it was a very long day. There are lots of shaded walking trails between each site so that helps on a hot day, but make sure to wear sunscreen. The buffets are really expensive…$45 US dollars per person, but there was a lot of variety.

Day trip with loads of fun - The trip was well organized. Transportation was on time. Guide on the bus shared lots of useful information. Park was loads of fun! Plan your route otherwise you'd waste time going back to the lockers.

Absolutely extortionate but brilliant! - As per the title really. Extremely expensive day, fully taking advantage of tourists. Each individual activity VERY expensive and many upsells pushed upon it BUT saying that we had an incredible day. Amazing experiences. Evening show was super, and would recommend anyone book the dinner whilst watching the show too- was great!

First time to Xcaret - We had a great time. It was a long day tho. I recommend the plus package mainly for the lockers. The Buffet lunch was okay. The only extra add in we did was the shark encounter but for what it is it wasn't really worth it. The free stuff will keep you busy. We never even got to snorkeling. The river was fun. The night extravaganza was beautiful but we were exhausted by that time. I read after the fact that you can't take in outside food but we had snacks in our bag, they didn't check. Definitely take a change of clothes, they have enclosed showers. I took a mini shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Take your towel. Reef friendly sunscreen and bug repellent for evening. I did get cold at night and wished I had a light sweater. We left the show about 20 minutes early and were the first ones on the bus. Back at the hotel at 11pm. Will do this tour again next time I'm in Cancun.

Great park and do not... - Great park and do not miss the sea trek- liked the underground river swim and Aviary. One of the best theme parks I have visited. Snorkeling is average at the cove. Final show is great but very long at 2 hours

Extra $$$ for Extra Activities with Best Buffet!!! - My hubby and I went there because my coworker recommended, there’s a lot of activities. We got the all-inclusive package—but we were still in line for buying and booking activities inside the park (e.g. Sea Trex and photo package). Well, we had fun and bought the photo package as well. Price was more reasonable than I expected. The buffet was the best. However, the signs and where to go were not the best, the park should improve all the signage.

Fun and enjoyable day activities - I just do admin fee included activities like boating in river, swimming in underground caves river and watching several shows. It is a fun day but quite tried for whole day activities. Lunch buffet is good to eating full but don’t expect it has superior food. The evening show is awesome. It is educational, entertaining, and enjoyable

Xcaret - This place is somewhat of a racket. The entry price gets you in to basically walk around and do a few features. Everything else, especially the fun stuff, are all an expensive add on. Buffet lunch was decent. Purchased the photo package and then found out it did not include some of the experiences - that was also an add on to the add on. Good option if you have young kids and just want to stroll around the jungle without doing any of the expensive experiences.
