Thank you XPLOR - We were on XPLOR and had a great time. I want to thank Grupo Xcaret and the park staff, especially Ramon from paramedics, for the care given to my family due to a small mishap we had. At all times the staff was attentive and medical attention arrived soon. As for other details like food and drinks, excellent!

Adventure - Xplor was amazing: we did all of the activities they had to offer in one day except for the water slide (the line was long and we chose instead to do other activities multiple times, such as the zip lines, ATV, and hammock zip line). We brought our 9 and 10 year old sons and they LOVED every activity we did. While the ATV and zip lines were incredibly fun, our favorite moments were the spectacular, quiet beauty of the water and stalactites/stalagmites in the caves. Everyone we interacted with was friendly. The food was good. The juices were amazing!

Super fun day! - We stayed in Tulum and were looking for something adventurous to do and this was exactly what we were looking for! I read several reviews online before to prepare for the day so here’s my overview to help others. ITINERARY - We went on December 26, so I was expecting crowds. But we were pleasantly surprised that is was not nearly as crowded as we expected. We didn’t wait over 20 minutes for anything. - We were planning on starting with the zip lines but because it was supposed to rain, we went with the water slide first (since it is the only thing that closes with rain). The water slide was really fun but a little crazy. I felt like I was going to fall out multiple times. I felt like I had to hold on super tight for my safety. - We then went to the zip lines and decided to go for the ones with more water involved. They were fun but a bit repetitive. - We then went to the ATVs. If you look under 18, be sure to bring a copy of your drivers license (can just be a picture on your phone) because they will question you. The course was a lot longer than I expected. - We then went on the hammock zip line and the underwater expedition - Then we had lunch which was an amazing buffet. They had options for everyone and everything was labeled with allergens. I think it may have been better than my college’s dining hall! - We finished with the river swim. We did the longer route and once I got used to the water temperature, I had a lot of fun. TAKEAWAYS - It was A LOT of walking! According to my Apple Watch, we walked 57 flights of stairs. Each of the attractions are a considerable distance apart from one another so be prepared to walk a lot! The good thing is that it is pretty much all in the shade or underground. - After reading reviews, we bought water shoes at our hotel before arriving and it was definitely worth it. You cannot walk around barefoot and you need a closed toe shoe because several of the attractions are rocky. They also sell them there. - You can only carry a phone in one of those clear waterproof cases, otherwise it stays in the locker. But for the water slide, they said no phones at all. My sister is diabetic so she also kept bars in the case in case she went low and needed sugar Overall, it was a very fun day so I’m glad we went. I wish we had more time for other XCaret parks, but we didn’t know about them until we were running out of days.

Adrenaline - I'm usually a scared person, but this park I take off. Pretty good to throw yourself through the zip lines, live with nature and live some adrenaline.

Too expensive and traffic light system is a waste of time - Long waits…in fact waited an hour and 30 minutes for the first attraction we went on, when we came off the zip lining showed a red light for the entire day on the traffic light system, which meant it was full (apparently people went on anyway, negating the point of the system, and others having multiple turns, surely there needs to be a system to limit people to one turn so others don’t miss out???) and when we went to go in it we were told after queuing for 45 Minutes that it would take an hour and a half which would mean we would miss our bus so therefore missed it. Food was good however stood in line for this for 45 minutes, maybe more. In total 3 hours of waiting in line (at least), not getting on the zip lines meant that at nearly £300 and then a further £70 for photos, this is really not worth it and to be honest was a waste of time and money.

Could be better - Honest review…1st things first the harness could improve. It’s almost better if you’re considered over-weight, as that harness has additional padding. Everyone else’s harness seems to cause discomfort. Food was AMAZING. Vehicles track needs severe pothole service. Seems like the park is overlooking details that make it special to consumers. I would still visit the park, but dont know if I would speak highly of it as I once did.

Shady fun adventure out of sunshine. - If you don’t mind spending the day in the shade or on an underground exploration and not in the sunshine of beautiful Mexico, then this place is perfect for you. Long lines, no sunny places to lounge though … excellent buffet … staff are amazing and very professional. Bring water shoes, waterproof camera cover, change of dry clothes for end of day.
