First & last time to lanzarote - My first visit to lanzarote and picollos playa hotel and although hotel was great it was mainly retirees who preferred to sunbath and drink all day and night. The evening entertainment was bingo or games or music which the older people seemed to enjoy but not what we wanted and i am retired. There is a supermarket and bar 2 minutes walk away in front of hotel (downstairs) and more bars to the left about 10minutes walk towards matagorda. The bus will take you into town which is very busy and hilly and lots of bars and restaurants and mainly irish bars. We went to playa blanca and costa teguise which i preferred. We had a nice time in lanzarote but wont be returning.

No one knows what's happening - Got on the transfer coach from the hotel. Easyjet flight back to the UK. Chaos. Four or five different flights checking in the same desks. All closed on arrival queues for 30 minutes before the desk even opened. So either the airport or airline need to sort this out.

Absolute Nightmare - Use this company at your peril. I booked a 6 seater in July to collect us from hotel in Playa Blanca and take us to the Airport. It never showed up despite getting an email from them the previous day confirming all the details. They were impossible to get hold of on the morning but eventually did. At this stage we were 25 minutes after our pick up time. They said they would investigate and get back to me. I waited another 10 minutes and decided to order 2 taxis otherwise we would be late arriving at the Airport. On the way to the Airport they called and said there was a problem with the driver. Great, I already knew that. They said they would order 2 taxis to take us. I explained we were already on the way to the Airport as I had ordered 2 taxis. They asked for the Taxi numbers and assured me that their representative would meet us at the airport and pay the taxi drivers. Surprise, nobody met us at the Airport so I paid for both taxis. 30 minutes later they called me to see if I was at the Airport yet. We were already through security. I told them I had receipts for the taxis and I would be looking to be reimbursed. They said that wouldn't be a problem. Now over a month later and numerous emails and phone calls they are refusing to reimburse me the monies I paid for the taxis, over €80. They are not a company to be doing business with.
