Unique and amazing experience - A unique experience. The closeness of the whales amazing!! The peace that comes to the boats... and the respect that is generated is admirable. Unforgettable.

Excellent day out - Great day and Juan the tour guide was excellent. We managed to see seals, sea lions and some penguins. Unfortunately no Orcas came out to play but that did not deter us. Was an excellent day

Day trip in private car. - The driver and guide Pedro and Tuiago made sure we had an informed conversation about the vast area we traveled. The car was comfortable for our ride. We traveled quite a lot of miles. We kept on schedule covered all the viewing areas we wanted and made it back to ship at the time we were promised.

Valdez Peninsula and whale watching. - Excellent service at the Tito Botazzi and Turismo Punta Tombo agencies. A Patagonian experience, not to be missed, on a trip to Puerto Madryn, Chubut, Argentina. Special mention to our guide Mimí Abdala, very knowledgeable about her job, and very attentive to her passengers. To Enzo , champion in driving on gravel roads and the crew of the boat.

Valdes Peninsula Tour ARGENTINA - It's good in Puerto Madryn. At the Hotel Tolosa as well. Here "our" Patagonia truly began. The minibus that takes us to the Valdez Peninsula early in the morning immediately fills with the sounds of various languages. Clara who guides us is old and her hair is also rumpled, but she has her own charm. She is German by origin. After all, who is not European in Argentina? Apart from the few descendants of the Theuelche or Ona, all are at least a little English (or rather Welsh), Italian, German. In this area the Welsh prevail who preserve the habit of tea, in beautiful rooms. Leaving the industrial and mining landscape of Puerto Madryn, the boundless, very flat space of Patagonia begins. No human traces for kilometers. Only thorny bushes, tufts of grass, some contemptuous-looking guanacos (like their cousins llamas and camels), a few small groups of merino sheep swollen with wool and, over this almost nothing, the wind reigns supreme, the true master of these lands. Far away and solitary, a few completely autonomous estancias. At the information centre, among the panels that explain everything and the photos of Patagonian animals, the skeleton of a southern right whale stands out for a very long time, the other great protagonist of this historia naturalis at the edge of the world. Along an escarpment we glimpse some penguins busy brooding or simply asleep in some crevice of the cliff. At Caleta Valdes the foamy ocean opens up and the beach is teeming with sea lions, fat, clumsy, friendly, lying in complete idleness, apart from throwing piles of coarse-grained beach on themselves and calmly dragging themselves to the shore, to a little bath. You would want to go close to them, but you can't: this is their home and that of thousands of birds resting on the waves, not ours. Let's be content to observe them from the walkways and the long path.

Viatour is too expensive - Was a fun trip with a ton of wildlife. I wouldn't book the whale watching through here though. You can pay for the whale watching part once you arrive for literally 1/3 of the price as offered through Viator.

Trip cut short with no warning - Peninsula Valdes was great but the tour operator was not. They didn’t warn us beforehand that they decided to cut the trip short because they had to bring back part of our group back to their cruise ship. They picked us up earlier than expected with no warning and seemed pissed that we didn’t have the good timing from the reservation.

We paid much more than what it is worth for a standard excursion to Peninsula de Valdes - I took this excursion in pesos and they charged me in dollars, so it cost me almost fifty percent more. Furthermore, they came to pick us up more than an hour after the agreed time. Finally, they took us to eat at a very expensive place in Puerto Pirámides: they charged us for a simple meal more than double what we paid in better quality restaurants in Puerto Madryn. I don't recommend them at all

Overpriced, very poor value for money - The tour costs $150 per person, but in return you get a lot of time in the car, few animals and two unnecessary stops. You don't even get a bottle of water. As for the process: Pick-up was late, the stops were not timed, so we had to wait for others in the hot car. Not recommended!
