Memorable, delicious, fun! - Absolutely amazing chef and teacher - she explained everything well with humor, heart and fun! A beautiful business she has built for her and her family. Delicious authentic traditional menu with skillful instruction, all gluten-free and you get the recipes after the class along with a very memorable experience. Highly recommend!!!

This was such an amazing... - This was such an amazing experience! Not only was the location extremely beautiful, but the cooking portion was so fun and taught us so much about Mexican culture! Learning the history behind tequila & mezcal was so interesting. The food was amazing and so was the tequila!

Hidden Gem - My husband and I came to Mexico for our 10 yr anniversary and came to Mexico Lindo. We had an amazing experience. Claudia was so gracious. My husband noticed the garden and asked about it. Claudia gave the group a full tour of the garden. Showed us black bees (pictured). She answered all of our questions about the processes and origins of the food and tequila. Her assistants Silver and Paola were super nice and helpful. This was not just a tequila tasting and cooking. It was an in depth history lesson. My husband and I did not want to leave!!!

Wonderful Cooking Experience ! - What an amazing experience. We had an absolutely wonderful time cooking and tasting tequila with Chef Claudi. We love to learn new cooking styles and techniques. Even though we went in July, and in the jungle, it was pleasant dining outside. They have plenty of fans that kept things cool while eating and tasting tequilas. Along with chef Claudi, the staff was so very nice and friendly. They made the experience even more special. This truly exceeded our expectations and I would recommend this experience to anyone who has the time. If you do not have the time, you should make the time. It was so much fun. We will be back with more friends and family next time !!

Authentic hands on experience! - This was our second time spending the day cooking and eating with Mexico Lindo. This time we did the Yucatan Delights class, very good. The Classic is still our favorite menu to make. The environment is beautiful and inviting. Claudia was our chef and her staff, Paula and Silver, who are Mayan, were phenomenal. We highly recommend you come hungry and enjoy the hands on experience!

The surroundings were beautiful, the food was exquisite and the coffee was for to die for. We spent the whole day eating, drinking and having fun! One of our highlights from 6 months travelling and amazing value for money. Highly recommended! Thank you so much Chef Ale and the team 🙏🏼

Chef Rosalia's Kitchen - I made a reservation for 4 people through Mexico Lindo y Querido to have lunch at Chef Rosalia's Kitchen on February 5th at 11:30 a.m. My husband and I were unable to attend so 2 other of our Mexican friends that live in Mérida went instead. Below are the impressions of the group. The experience itself and food was incredible and unforgettable. It is quite insightful to see the process of the traditional cooking and see the environment where the Chef Rosalia lives and cooks. We really got to feel her entire process. Everyone in the Mexico Lindo Cooking staff, Chef Rosalia, and her family were cordial and kind to every guest. The Experience Lead always wanted to answer questions, engage with us as guests, and make sure we had everything we needed. She was a delight to engage with and easily could go back and forth from speaking Spanish to English. I also appreciated the fact that it was a small number of us, it is always nicer to do this with a more intimate group rather than a big group tour. From personal experience working in the tourism industry, I would recommend the experience involve more of Chef Rosalia's presence or mention that there will be an external guide moderating the experience and that the time with Chef Rosalia would be quite limited. I wish Chef Rosalia had been more involved in the overall experience, besides just quickly speak to our group twice for a very short amount of time. We did pay to be able to learn from her after all. It was nice to meet her family but there was very little to no conversation with them and it felt like they didn't really want to engage with us at all. Personally, I crave more of these cultural interactions when I purchase an experience that involves being around local members of the community. Unfortunately, we also did have a bad experience that was quite disappointing that we feel is important to share. When we reached out to the Mexico Lindo Whatsapp number to let them know 3 out of 4 people who attended were sick the entire following night, the staff was quite insensitive. An answer saying "we have never heard of that" isn't an answer when the experience was over $100USD per person. I would recommend being more attentive to these details because they mark the overall experience. We weren't looking for a refund at all, we simply were looking for understanding and wanting to share this feedback in hopes that maybe the cooking process should be thoroughly reviewed and to prevent this from happening to another group. We also recommend checking with the Chef Rosalia and the Mexico Lindo Staff about the overall experience to make sure this doesn't happen to other guests.
