Nice afternoon - It was about a 40 minute boat ride to the farm - nice views, pleasant ride. The farm tour was approximately 2 hours - it included high tea, (which was very tasty - the scones were fabulous), a tour of the farm and a sheep shearing demonstration. It was a beautiful farm and the tour guide was very friendly.

A chance to feed a huge Woolly Coo on a working farm. - The cruise over and back was very relaxing but it did feel breezy on deck when the ship was under way (even on a warm, still day) so maybe take a sweater with you. We did the farm tour with Ashley and got to meet and feed lots of different animals including a huge (but very placid) Dougie the Highland cow or 'Woolly Coo' as we say in Scotland. Ashley's sheep sheering demo was fascinating and a lot of fun - the double act with her dog was cute and pure comedy. The high tea in the open barn was ok - plenty of different buns and cakes but pesky birds a bit of a pain. We had a great day and would happily recommend it to anyone.

Great tour. Farm was so much fun getting to feed animals, watch dogs herding, and seeing a sheep sheared. - Later tours will have less small children. The ship, afternoon tea, and farm tour were all wonderful

Unique experience - Really unique experience. Beautiful trip over the lake to the farm. Very informative talk about the animals. The only negative was the afternoon tea was like a military operation. With the lady in charge giving out instructions very loudly and saying we only had half an hour.

A day to relax with nature close to home - Walter Park is not like the other animal farms. It was a one-stop shop for all of the NZ famous who's who - sheep, goat cattle, alpaca, and more. And you can feed them and see an actual sheep shearing demonstration. The afternoon tea and the trip on an authentic steamboat were the cherries on the top.

A great way to get out on... - A great way to get out on Lake Wakatipu the old fashioned way and see a traditional NZ farm in action. Fun for all ages.

Lovely trip - Cruise was very nice but the guitar player not needed - would be nice to just take in the scenery. Definitely book tickets as it gets very busy. Farm was excellent and very informative staff. Afternoon Tea was nice although there wasn’t a lot of it! Overall a thoroughly enjoyable day

Nice package of experiences - The Earnslaw is a genuinely historic ship, with the sights and smells of early 20th century steam. The family tour and demonstration was fairly limited in scale, but that’s fine - we didn’t want hours of presentation. “Cream tea” perhaps oversells what is on offer, it was fairly basic and not what you would except from that term in the UK, but it was fine.

Very difficult company to... - Very difficult company to deal with who had rigid rules and displayed no compassion due to circumstances beyond our control. Very disappointed in the lack of humanity. Offered a 20% discount to rebook. What an absolute ripoff and a joke.
