The day began with the familiar thrill of anticipation, as my group of fellow adrenaline junkies and I were picked up from our hotel in Quepos. The drive to ADR Waterfall Park was a scenic journey through Costa Rica’s lush landscapes, setting the stage for the adventure that awaited us. As we arrived at the base camp, the energy was palpable. Our guides, Bernal, Bayron, and Deibys, greeted us with infectious enthusiasm and professionalism that immediately put us at ease.
