Rio Secreto - Playa del Carmen - Very cool ride. The Tainara guide was excellent, demonstrated deep knowledge and taste for the topic and I handle well with the public.

Rio Secreto! GREAT TRIP - We visited Rio Secreto and it was a great experience. The site was beautiful, and a great activity for our family (we have a 6 year old). Our guide was Tainara, she really made the trip special. She made the excursions very fun, she was knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. If you go and get Tainara as a guide you’ll have a great adventure.

Review - This is a trip that requires people who aren't afraid to have a little action and be adventurous on the trip. The caves were amazing and don't b afraid to get wet. The zipline, biking, and rappelling were also fun! David S was an excellent tour guide. I highly suggest you get him!

We Got Engaged! - She said yes! I booked a private tour at Rio Secreto, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. Pepe, Hector, and the entire staff were incredible to work with. Everyone was super accommodating and made our special day one to remember forever. I can’t thank Pepe and Hector enough; they absolutely crushed it!! If you’re going to propose, pay the extra to book a private tour. It’s worth every penny not having a ton of strangers around.

A fulfilling experience - We had an unforgettable experience thanks to our guide, Miguel. Full of knowledge, passion, and a comedian all in one. As for the cave system, you have to see it for yourself to understand why it's so special.

Something fun to do! - Our family of 4 enjoyed the Rio Secreto Plus tour. We booked through Nexus at our hotel and were picked up at the hotel lobby at 9:30am. We arrived to the entrance around 10:30am, signed waivers and got into another van to drive another 15 minutes to the activity area. We dropped our stuff into lockers and were equipped with helmets. Our guide Fernando was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, patient and supportive. We were put into a group of 12 and some opted out of the bike ride portion and were driven instead. The bike ride was bumpy but fun! We did one repelling session down into a cave and felt very safe the entire time. We went back to the locker area on bike where we got into our swimsuits, water shoes and wetsuits (they provided the shoes and wetsuits for us to use). We swapped our helmets for ones with flashlights and headed down into the cenotes. This was by far our favourite part of the excursion. The caves were very cool and it was fun to hike and swim inside. We were glad we opted for the wetsuits as the water was chilly. When we turned out the lights, it was so dark and the kids loved it! What an experience! Our lunch happened at the end of the activities which ended up being around 4pm. We got back to the hotel around 5:45 so it was a full day excursion. Overall it was a fun day!

Rio Secreto Tour - Rio Secreto cave tour is definitely unique, very special. Prepare for some swimming in the cold water ! Experience by itself is 5 star! Tour guide was good, althrough English was not his language of preference and he spoke more to one French couple (leaving other 8 people wondering why they get 3 times less information), he was nice. Also we were the last two people in the group so sometimes by the time we got to our guide, he already finished talking. No cameras allowed, photographer took some photos, quality is just ok, nothing spectacular yet the price tag is high. After the tour there was a buffet with maybe 10 dishes, nothing tasty but you will not die from hunger. Transportation back was a disaster, had to wait maybe for 1.5 hrs (for only 3 day vacation its a long time), very disorganized and on the way back shared ride took much longer (ruined sunday afternoon plans) . Booked directly with them, maybe different for another operator.

The company sells expensive photography services and does not deliver them. Don't go! - DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE! THEY DON'T LET YOU IN WITH GOPRO, THEY CHARGE YOU $90 FOR PHOTOS AND VIDEOS AND THEY DON'T SEND THEM TO YOU! I paid for the photos and already sent 4 emails asking for my videos and no one answers. Want a tip? go to the cenote sac aktun in tulum. It's similar, cheaper to get in and you can take your own pictures.
