A memorable afternoon - Elias contacted us before we met to make sure we were comfortable with getting to the meeting point. He was knowledgeable throughout, even when pressed with historical questions or architectural details. His English was superb, but perhaps most of all, he was personable and clearly took great pride in his work

Wonderful excellent - Our guide Mona was excellent, she spoke of both Muslim and Christian religions, discussed the intricacies of Arabic culture and led us deep into the ancient history of Rabat. She deserves a lot more than only 5 stars. You would be remised if you didn’t request a tour from her.

Amazing guide! Very knowledgeable! - Hassania is amazing guide! Extremely kind, social, and knowledgeable. After speaking about our faith we made an extra stop and she took us to a cathedral which was unfortunately closed—but the thought was very appreciated! Highly recommend if you want to learn about Rabat while also having a great day out.

5 stars to Othmane and our half day tour of Rabat! - If I could give 10 stars to Othmane, I would! He was our favorite tour guide in 10 days in Morocco. We started at the ruins of the old mosque and then mausoleum (jaw dropping beautiful) and walked along the river down to the Kasbah and gardens, through parts of the Medina. Othmane grew up in the Rabat Medina but also has lived in the US for years so he was the perfect person to explain so much of the history and culture in Rabat but also able to compare and contrast to the US, where we are from. And he was very very kind. As soon as he learned of my mother’s knee injury and balance issues, he was there to help her on stairs and ensured he asked what she was ok doing or not. He is a true gem. Very knowledgeable, thoughtful, and also funny. Thank you, Othmane!

Excellent walking tour of Rabat - The tour was v good and Yousef was very knowledgeable about Rabat. The fortress & the gardens were lovely. As you are walking a long way it would be useful to build in a break for tea half way - although the cafe where we stopped at the fortress was too expensive. I would recommend this tour to other travellers though as it gives you a great insight into Rabat and the main points of interest.

Mona was an amazing tour guide - Mona was an amazing tour guide. Her English was excellent, she was very friendly and personable, and she had a tremendous wealth of knowledge. She was very patient and flexible in letting us stop and take pictures and go off the beaten path. We enjoy walking and had a great tour of many parts of the city. She went at a pace we were very comfortable with and never felt bored or rushed. She stopped at a nice place where we could take a brief rest and have some mint tea and cookies. She provided lots of information about both the city specifically and about Morocco in general, but in a way that was super interesting and did not feel like attending a boring lecture. She also answered all sorts of questions about culture, history, modern life etc. We can't imagine a better tour guide!

This is a must when you travel to Rabat -- especially with Youssef as your guide! - Every so often one gets a chance to experience a wonderful tour experience that's made even more special by a superb tour guide. This is one of those tours, if you're lucky to enjoy it with Youssef! The tour is about 2 hours long and highlights some of the key points in the charming city of Rabat (the political capital of Morocco). To say my wife and I found the experience enjoyable would be an understatement. It was delightful indeed! Although the medina isn't as huge as others in Morocco, it had the energy and bustle of the best of them. I found it to be so much fun! Unhurried. Non-pushy local commercialism. The tour is enough to learn the essentials of the sites and sounds that make Rabat a delightful visit for an afternoon (we actually fit it into an earlier cooking class that started at 1030 that morning). And, of course, our tour guide was one of the most knowledgeable professionals you'll ever meet in all of Morocco -- Youssef. He's a precious and gentle soul, with the heart of gold, and maturity beyond his years. He embodies the beauty of the country and its creative, inviting, and hearty people. The next time you visit Casablanca, head to Rabat, take this wonderful learning experience, and ask for Youssef. We loved it! You will too.
