The Plazza is so much better than the Maple Leaf lounge at the Vancouver Int't Airport - This review refers only to the lounge at the Vancouver International Airport: Relatively excellent. Open beyond midnight as long as there are flights. Sufficient foods and good services. This temporary location is still comfortable with nice services. Much better than the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at the Vancouver International Airport. The Maple Leaf there is good for dogs. My Air Canada flight was to leave at 2 AM but the Maple Leaf lounge closed at 10:30 PM and everyone had to "get out" by that time. Food services ended at 10 PM.

Was comfortable and clean - After a long wait in the airport for our flight home we decided to book this lounge . We booked via Get Your Guide website on the day and paid $122 for both of us Canadian $ . Cheaper than paying at the counter which I think approx $70 Canadian $ pp . After reading the other reviews I was aware that the proper lounge is still being done . So be aware that this is a makeshift place at the side of the airport , separated but still can see the other part off the airport. The Staff are friendly and the food was fine . Not much choice of hot food but plenty of drinks and cakes , yogurt and fruits and sandwiches to were available. Comfy chairs to sit on and they were in no hurry to kick us out past the 3 hour timeline . All the tables were cleaned as soon as people finished their food . Had a few glasses of red wine and food to past the time . I’m sure the place will be great when it up and running properly. Overall we found it to be ok and value for money .

Food is not good - Stopped in on a Thursday at around 1 PM and this place was kind of a mess. It was SO crowded and a bit difficult to find a table for two. The food isn't very good and looks very picked through. When we went, they had some fish, chicken, frozen veggies, and beet mashed potatoes. Everything tasted like a frozen TV dinner. The only thing that was semi okay was the mashed potatoes. If you just want to fill your water bottle, or get a quick drink, then this lounge fits the bill. But if you're looking for decent food or a place to relax, you're not going to find it here. This is the only PP lounge in the airport that is accessible for US residents traveling from Canada to the US. But I'm not sure if it's better than no lounge at all.

Not Happy - Most memorable things about our experience are: 1. we were charged for a previous canceled booking on the same day (canceled due to the fact that we could not clear customs 6 hours before flight) then couldn’t adjust times on app. Canceled and rebooked. 2. No hot food available, everything served in plastic or paper. 3. No toilets or showers available, used airport facilities instead. I understand that you are renovating but the price does not reflect the item as advertised. I would appreciate your response so I can find out how to be get my $240 refund. Annie Cornell

Poor attempt at at service. - I will preface this review by saying that a new, or possibly refurbished lounge is opening soon. We know this because we could hear the building work from the fenced off public area that currently serves as a lounge. Filthy stained carpet, no privacy and have to use public toilets nearby. Food choice very poor, mashed potato and mixed frozen veg in one warmer, a stuffed pasta in the next and an unappetising chicken stew in the third. Limited bar selection and even the prosecco is charged for! All served on paper plates and plastic glasses! I have lodged a complaint with my airline.

Disappointed - We were only able to use the lounge 2 of the 6 hours booked due to the airline not allowing us to check in 5 hrs prior to our departure time. They shut down meal service 15 mins early, the bathrooms were disgusting, the place was overcrowded a and not relaxing and free WiFi advertised is the airport WiFi. Save your money and get a good meal from one of the restaurants. So disappointed.

DO NOT GO TO A PLAZA LOUNGE. - The absolutely worst lounge experience. You are better off to sit near the terminals, get a Hortons sandwich and call it good .The Plaza Premium Lounge is a scam and a joke. There is no comfort, no escape, no quiet. The food and drink are third rate at best. The chairs are beyond uncomfortable, nothing is clean. We reserved 6 weeks out and had to wait for somebody to leave to get bad restaurant table and chair spaces. Pitiful food, comfort, reservations, drink, cleanliness and experience. Dont waste your money on this scam.

Very disappointing - We bought our tickets a few weeks before we left to be sure we could get in at Vancouver . When we got there we were told there was no room for us. And we paid for 6 hour stay They sent us to an area with tables and hard chairs like a cafeteria. Food was almost gone from the serving dishes. Save your money. It’s a joke

Terrible - The main lounge was full even though we had reservations then we were told to go to a secondary lounge which was not as comfortable and the food was bad. I would not recommend this lounge to anyone and will never utilize this lounge again. .
