A highlight of your Rome visit - Looking back at our week-long visit to Rome, we had many wonderful experiences, but the most fun and insightful was our evening tour/adventure with Andrea!
He picked us up at our apartment and showed us his beautiful classic Fiat 500 luxury edition. He takes great pride in his car, it's history and engineering, and the car is beautifully clean and polished and well maintained.
The most authentic way to experience Rome is from the perspective of a small classic car...it's fun! Pedestrians tower over the car, the streets of Rome feel like a go-cart track, but you're safely in Andrea's hands, who will gently glide you around the roads of Rome on comfortable seats.
The sights themselves were beautiful at night. Everything was lit up and the atmosphere at the locations was great. Andrea knew the best places to get spectacular views, and he used our phone camera to take our favourite pictures of us enjoying our trip as a couple.
It was great talking to Andrea and getting his perspective as a local of Rome. He answered the many questions we had accumulated during our visit. Even though we had other guided tours, we found this one to be the most insightful, and our first chance to ask questions about the quirky character and history of Rome, both modern Rome and in the past.
I can't recommend this enough - it will be one of the highlights of your visit to Rome, an adventure you will tell everyone about.
