A Different & Fascinating Side Of Rome - This is a fantastic experience!
I had no idea what to expect with this tour. I was traveling with my 81 year old mother and 25 year old son and it was my son who found this and really wanted to go. I’m so glad we did. The park we were led through to get to the underground is beautiful and very different from the other parts of Rome I had seen (I’ve attached photos). And the caves and catacombs themselves were fascinating. Our tour guide Ricardo was so knowledgeable and entertaining. My only caution is that if you have bad knees, claustrophobia or the like beg out of the catacomb section of the experience (although that would be a shame because that part was amazing!!) I definitely recommend this to anyone interested in Roman history!

An evocative experience to travel through time - A truly fascinating and evocative place, which allows you to take a sort of journey through time in a maze of quarry tunnels. A speleoarchaeology experience within everyone's reach. To get there you then pass through the beautiful Caffarella park.

Ancient times brought to life - Joseph took us back to a time and place that we had previously not known about. As an archeologist his knowledge was exceptional and he made it easy to imagine living and working in ancient times. The work he and his group are doing here is remarkable and should soon receive UNESCO status. Bravo to all involved in this project

An enchanting adventure in the heart of Rome.... - The experience offered by the Tour to the Labyrinth of Rome, located inside the Caffarella park, was a real journey through history and entertainment. From the start, we found ourselves immersed in a fascinating mix of historical puzzles and engaging interactivity. Exploring the labyrinth's intricate paths on foot in a route that lasts around two hours was both engaging and informative, offering fascinating details about Rome's history in a compelling way. What makes the tour even more extraordinary is the attention to detail and the enchanting atmosphere that made each step in the labyrinth a unique discovery.
The tour staff demonstrated a deep knowledge and infectious enthusiasm for Roman history, lively conveying clear and engaging information. Every corner of the maze seemed to hide a new secret to reveal, and the learning experience was made fun thanks to interactive and engaging elements. Furthermore, the impeccable organization of the tour ensured a smooth flow and engaging story telling. The icing on the cake is the last stop in a comfortable cave for tasting the ancient Roman Mulsum wine!!!
The Labyrinth of Rome is certainly an essential stop for those who wish to explore the Eternal City in a different and exciting way. The combination of learning, entertainment and magical atmosphere makes the tour an ideal choice for everyone, from families to couples and groups of friends.

Off the beaten path kind of a tour - This was a very interesting tour, definitely not a typical Rome tour. Our guide, Riccardo was terrific, extremely knowledgeable and we learned a lot. It was really hot in Rome that day, so was nice to go underground, where we did get chilly and ended up putting a jacket on about half way through the tour.
It is a long walk to get to the entrance, so recommend taking a taxi or Metro ride to meet the guide and not doing a ton of walking ahead of time.

Pass.... - Our guide Joseph was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We expected to be seeing the underground Roman tunnels through the city. We did not. We saw a rock quarry and an old mushroom farm. Air quality was poor, long walk to entrance, nothing super special.

Meh - Although the guide was informative and enthusiastic, the experience was less than satisfactory. It all looks the same and you have to walk 45 minutes to get to the underground.

Not as advertised - We had to walk 45 minutes to get to the underground part. The tour in it was just okay. It got a little monotonous because everything looks the same. The paintings are modern since they were never there in the fist place.

Labyrinth - We unfortunately could not do tour as our tour guide did not arrive. We requested a refund. It is a, pity as we were really looking forward to it.
