Sonja Stuns and Debunks! - Our guide, Sonja, was an expert about the churches and all things Rome, and she provided valuable information in a funny and kind manner. The churches were stunning and a must see. Sonja further debunked myths and encouraged us to walk the Sacred Steps, which we did.....an intense experience.

Outstanding tour of the 3 Basilicas - Sonia was an excellent guide. As there were only 4 people in our group, she made it feel very special. We didn’t have to wear headsets which made the exper Much better. As we had to travel between the sites via taxi Sonia bout us a coffee while we waited for it to arrive. Even in the taxi she didn’t stop telling us about the different sites in Rome. I wish I could have Sonia running all the tours I have been on as she is by far the best tour guide I have ever had in the 3 visits to Rome. Thank you Viator for a wonderful memory 🙏👏👏👏😊. James

Holy Doors - SO WORTH IT! - This was my third time using More of Rome, and not the last for sure. Every time I come back to Rome, they seem to come up with something new.
3 Papal Basilicas have been on my mind for a long time, but I could never find the right tour. This one was just perfect. Our guide was passionate about history, and the Basilicas were breathtaking. You visit three ancient churches: Saint Mary Major, Saint Paul Outside the Walls, and Saint John in Lateran, and a huge bonus at the end of the tour is the relic of the Holy Stairs. If you're looking for something special to do in Rome, this tour is definitely for you. The transfers between the venues were a breeze, and we were even given some free time to relax and use the facilities. Overall a 5-star experience. Highly recommended!

Well worth every penny! - This was one of the best tours I took while in Rome, indeed I travel a lot and it was one of the best anywhere. The guide was personable and informative. They keep the groups small which is amazing, answered questions and made the tour very interactive. It was more like talking to an old friend who shared their city and places they love rather than a tour guide. I will definitely look for more tours from them and asked them to provide me more information regarding their bookings. Well worth every penny!

Excellent Overview of the Other Three Papal Basilicas - We really enjoyed our tour of the other three papal basilicas. Everyone knows about St. Peter’s, but Dimitri did a great job giving us a historical overview of the other three, why they are important, and how they fit in relation to St. Peter’s. Our guide was upbeat, informative, and had a knack for sharing details with anecdotes and good stories in a very engaging way. You learn a surprising amount of information in a rather time.

Excellent and Information Tour - Best Way to See the Major Basilicas of Rome - We enjoyed an excellent tour of the Major Papal Basilicas and Holy Doors. Our guide, Dimitri, co-founder of More of Rome, was a wealth of information; he was enthusiastic and passionate about the Basilicas - their history, the architecture, and all the major artifacts. Dimitri also gave us great insights on the early Church in Rome and Ancient Rome. He efficiently moved us between the Basilicas by taxi, reducing the amount of walking. We even had time for a restroom break and a visit to the gift shop. Dimitri also shared his experience living in Rome and provided some good dining tips. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised that we were the only two on the tour, and thankful it was not cancelled. We highly recommend this tour to those who want an in depth tour of the Basilicas.

Excellent tour and tour guide!!! - This was our first tour in Rome and our favorite! Thanks to our wonderful tour guide Dmitri, we felt like we were on a pilgrimage as he explained the history and beauty of the 3 Papal Basilicas. I would recommend this tour to everyone! Hope you’re lucky enough as we were to get Dmitri!!!
