Great experience - Great tour, very informative host and went through in detail. The walk from the meeting place was short and we got right in!

Work every Euro. - Crown Tours are extremely well organised: booking process; pre-tour communication; welcome on the day; and of course, the tour. Benedetta, our guide, was not only extremely knowledgeable and personable, but was calm in dealing with the group getting into the Vatican and navigating the crowds. A magnificent experience. Thank you, Crown Tours, and thank you, Benedetta.

Excellent Tour Company - Crown Tours are the tops. Well organised with friendly and efficient staff. The Vatican tour was interesting and informative. When we came out of the Vatican the taxi quoted us 48 Euros to go back to the hotel. I explained that the trip in was only 17 euros and he replied that it is a different route out. CROOK. We went back to the Crown office nearby and they phoned us a taxi, cost 16.50 Euros. Bargain.

Super informative - but a bit slow (good for people 50+ years) - Our guide was very kind and super smart, sharing with us so much information - however at times it felt like it was a ramble on. The walking speed of the group too was very stop-start (even for a walking tour) and in busy places this wasn’t great. I’d reccomend it for history enthusiasts but not a regular young person.

Crowded - The guide said that close to 30k people visit the Vatican every day. I think they were all there at the same time. The flow through the site was rushed. The Sistine Chapel was so crowded I almost couldn't breathe and could not wait to get out.

Vatican to go… - Our tour guide Diana was wonderful, very knowledgeable. We were headed like cattle as were others in the Vatican museums. Rushed thru the entire place . Never got to see the museum of art , relics or mosaics. This was my second trip to the Vatican. First trip was 12 years ago. It was a very different experience, much more crowded and much more hurried and rushed . This is not a reflection of the tour or the tour guide but the whole system in general seems very changed so many people everywhere. Again our tour, Diana was absolutely wonderful, and everybody at Crown Tours were great, welcoming, and warm.

Visit to Vatican - The place is nice to visit at least once but the Tour too expensive for what it is, not too much consideration from the tour team I explained I was on the phone with the bank because we were just robed and asked for a couple of minutes, with no questions I was told no .

Vatican tour - The guide was very knowledgeable. The tour office should provide toilet facilities. We wasted about 20 minutes at the start of the tour, waiting for participants to use the facilities at the Vatican Museum. The booking process was confusing. I kept selecting the date and day I wanted before I left Naples and at the end the option came up to pay and it booked me on a same day tour. It was difficult to negotiate a rebooking and they charged a €50 rebooking fee on top of the original Booking fee.
