Extraordinary amazing - I have no word to explain. We were able to explore the wilderness of lapland and to add on top we able to see the the northern lights at its best. Highly recommend this tour

e-Sled Snowmobile and Aurora Picnic Tours! - We did two tours with Safartica during our time in Rovaniemi - a three hour e-sled snowmobile tour through the forest, and the aurora evening picnic. Both were very good, although I personally liked the small group size of the e-sled more than the large group used for the picnic. The tour guides were very helpful and friendly, and provided plenty of snacks. The snowmobiling tour was excellent, it was advertised as through the “wilderness” and the tour guide delivered! We took a break halfway inside of a wooden cottage where there was also a fire (warmth!) with grilled sausages and delicious cinnamon pastries cooked over the fire. For the aurora picnic, there was sausage and dessert cookies over a fire and we were inside of a teepee so it offered a little break from the cold, which was nice. Also, the suits provided for both activities were very clean (which is not an experience we had with other tour companies during this same trip). I would take another Safartica tour! Note: if you’re looking for an aurora “hunting” tour where the guide changes location to find optimal conditions to see the northern lights, this aurora picnic is not the tour for you. The location was predetermined, with only a chance of seeing the lights — we got lucky because solar activity was strong that evening. Otherwise, it would have just been a picnic in the forest.

Great experience without feeling rushed! - The guides gave very clear instructions and winter gear given to us was clean. Pick up and drop off was very smooth as well. We went on the day with one of the strongest auroras so that was a plus! The food and drinks provided was adequate (love the berry juice and cookies), and the guides were very accommodating to our requests and gave us plenty of time to take photos and sit around by the fire and eat (we don't feel rushed at all yet completed the whole activity on time). Would highly recommend!

Dinner in tipi and auroras - We didn’t see one but it’s something you have to do if you go, because surely you only go once and have a barbecue in a cool teepee and if you see the auroras I don’t even tell you anymore.

What a great night! - Just a great experience! We didn’t see the northen light but the sky was clear and we saw more than 30 shooting stars. Our two guides N and V did everything to service us with sausages, mashmallows, pastery, hot juice and hot chocolate and of course great company☺️

Cozy getaway to the Northern Lights - Her was a wonderful experience. In addition to the fun in the large teepee where the fire burned for the sausages and bread, we were able to see the northern lights in a great place! The guides helped well when people found it difficult to take pictures of the Aurora. A nice trip! Highly recommended!

A great evening! - Exceptional evening at the foot of the Northern Lights! Our guides Artir and Reetta were great: helpful, welcoming, adorable with our children! Grilled marshmallows between 2 chocolate cookies, just magical! Perfect evening for novice Northern Lights hunters! I recommend the activity, and thank our guides again!!! Good to know: complete outfit provided!!

Great experience - We felt very welcomed and accompanied. The guides Julien and Rabi were so nice an friendly and well organised too. We had a great time at the picnic and even in the bus. We even were lucky to see really great aurora. Thanks to all of you. Definitely something to recommend.

Great fun! - Thank you Boris for an amazing trip! Unfortunately it was foggy and cloudy so we couldn’t see the northern lights however we had an absolute blast as Boris told us many stories, facts and history about the area. The food was delicious and the tipis were warm and cool!
