Great Experience - Magnificent tour, well worth the sweat. Dimas was our guide from Cayo Inland Tours: very knowledgeable, patient with us while climbing El Castillo (I’m 70) and a wealth of information. A great way to spend an afternoon. Thank you.

Knowledgeable & Funny Tour Guides. - Our tour guide, Onil and Abner, were very knowledgeable of the Xunantunich Mayan Ruins. They knew a lot about the ruins and its history. Onil, being from the States, knew how to make us laugh the whole trip.

It’s pronounced “Shoo-Nan-Too-Nich” - Our guide Dimas made our trip so wonderful and smooth. Picked us up promptly at our hotel at the exact time communicated, shared so many wonderful facts, taught us how to correctly pronounce Xunantuninch (this was a big deal! :))) and went slowly for us as it was a hot, humid day and I’m pregnant - couldn’t move too fast :) Dimas was very accommodating, took awesome photos of us and the sites themselves were just lovely to see. The hand cranked ferry is so awesome to experience and Dimas even stopped on the way back to let us enjoy some street BBQ and peruse the little shops right by the ferry. Lovely day, lovely sights, lovely guide. Highly recommend this excursion. You won’t want to miss it while you’re in San Ignacio !!

Highly recommend this tour of Xunantunich - We enjoyed our tour to Xunantunich Mayan ruins. It was a very short trip from San Ignacio. Our driver and guide, O'neal, was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the Mayan ruin. It was a smaller site so, walking the site was not very difficult. We would highly recommend this tour.

Mayan ruins are amazing - We got Dimas (our guide) again for this tour and it was incredible. The ruins are definitely breath taking and Dimas seems to know almost everything about it. He definitely helps you understand how the people lived back in the day. Very cool tour, but be ready to sweat and hike. A lot of moving, but definitely worth it
