Fantastic tour. - We had a quick one day stop in cozumel but did not want to do any water activities or go to ruins. Done all of that before. Found this deep in viator suggestions. Had a lot of great reviews but many were older. So I was hesitant. Ended up booking. Met inside of the building next to office max. We had Gerardo as our guide. He took us to 4 restaurants and a bakerym. The food was fantastic. Could have skipped bakery. There was plenty of food and drink. Gerardo was great. Driver was great. The sopa lima was top 5 soups I have had ever around the world. So just book and don’t worry

Best tour of our cruise! - The food was so good. The flavors were distinctive, even on something as common as a shrimp taco. Delicious beverages as well. An informative guide added to the overall experience. Go hungry--there was a lot on offer. But, even though I am a very light eater, I still managed to devour everything. I would take this tour again.

Tasty, cultural, informative, fun. - Erin was amazing! She showed us places that we wouldn’t have gone to on our own. She shared not only several local dishes of Cozumel, but also the preparation and cultural aspects of each dish. If you want your tastebuds to explore more than just Señor Frogs while on the island, this is an absolute must. It was one of the biggest highlights of our trip. Thank you again Erin, you’re an incredible guide!

Must do Food Tour - FTW! - We met Erin at La Mega and quickly were guided into a taxi. Though we booked for just the two of us, fate intervened and we enjoyed a private food tour. Erin's English was fantastic and her knowledge of the island and food culture unmatched. We loved that every stop was a family-owned, local favorite, rather than targeted towards tourists. The market was especially interesting to see how islanders shop for their homes. Including the market, we went to 6 different places and left to our nap with incredibly full bellies and memories to share with friends.

Not for those that are allergic to Seafood! - While it was a great experience for those who eat seafood, not so much for those who don't. I was clear before the tour that one person in our party of 3 did not eat seafood, but at the end of the day, that wasn't taken into account. And yes, the Tour Guide suggested that perhaps the last place could be changed to fit the needs of the person who does not eat seafood, but by that time, they had already indicated the places we would go to and we did not feel it was ethical to change the plans because of one member in our party of 3. In the end, we stayed with the Taxi driver and avoided that place.
