Interesting day tour with some great sights - Adonis our guide was very knowledgeable, told us some interesting info about the country, the Mayan culture and volcano eruptions... We saw some beautiful landscape, walked among Mayan ruins, could not walk up to the volcano due to weather conditions. Best go between November and April, during the dry season.

A nice day trip in San Salvador! - It was a nice trip, you could see bit Mayan culture here, also the most interesting part is see the lake and walk bit in the forest up the top of mountain!

Great full day tour - The tour included 3 adults and one child. I think the small group allowed for a more personal attention to those on the tour. Alfredo was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions about the sites we visited. He always made sure we were comfortable and accommodating to any requests. The only part of the tour that has a lot of walking would be at Cerro Verde National park. Be aware if you start there is no turning back, you have to continue until the end because the exit is away from the entrance. My pick up location was the same as my drop off. I selected Bambu City Center in Zona Rosa. Great location for good restaurants. Alfredo also provided us the menu to review ahead of arrival, to our lunch spot, so our food would be ready. Would definitely recommend this tour for the locations visited and the amount of time spent.

A full day and a ‘fuller’ experience - Shout out to Alfredo Diaz, a personable, knowledgeable and fluent guide on this memory-making trip for my 8yo son and I. While we faced numerous unforeseeable traffic delays, Alfredo remained positive and his love for his country and its rich history shined through. The stops themselves were extremely educational, and who knew El Salvador’s climate could be so refreshing and cool (on the last leg at Cerro Verde)?! Well worth the price and felt like we got a real feel for the pulse of both the capital city and the countryside. Especially in our case it was a FULL day (12+ hours door to door), but so worth it. 10/10 recommend.

History, views, and nature all in one trip. - You see a lot and cover a lot of ground in a handful of hours. Miguel was very knowledgeable and friendly. Very nice you just need to show up and the rest is handled. Keep in mind you’re in the mountains, so the clouds pass through the landscape often.

Good experience - Good experience. Very good service from Adonis (the assigned guide). To improve > although the title of the tour says “Full day tour to the Izalco, Santa Ana and Cerro Verde volcanoes, Lake Coatepeque, Joya de Cerén and the ruins of San Andrés”, you do not visit the Izalco and Santa Ana volcanoes directly. The tour is good but this last detail can confuse expectations.

Not worth it... - Adonis was our guide with plenty of knowledge of the places where we visited, the excursion at the beginning started excellent, the places after like Lake Coatepeque was a paronamic view from the place where we had lunch, you will not visit the crater of Santa Ana if you plan to visit it, it is only a walk of some viewpoints that is given for around 45 minutes.... for me between price and tour is not worth it.
