Trip of a Lifetime - We had such an amazing time! Beautiful landscape, magnificent picturesque views and the food was delicious! We even got to see the northern lights! The weather worked with us for the most part, but I was glad we packed for anything and everything. Our tour guide Iskren was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained with his history lectures about where we were traveling for the day. Overall, it was a fantastic time and we are already planning on returning for their summertime activities.

Our tour guide Iskren was amazing. He made our trip greater than usual. - The experience was great. We have been to many iconic places in the South coast of Iceland in 3 days. The waterfall was amazing. Glacier hike under the heavy rain was unforgettable. The ice cave was a unique experience. And the glacier lagoon and diamond beaches were must go. We were also lucky to see the Northern light at the first night. Our tour guide Iskren from Tröll was amazing. He is funny, knowledgeable and taking very good care of us. He brought us to the good places and he knows Iceland very well.

Wonderful - We had an incredibly great time. The tour was perfect for our first visit. Our guide Iskren is very knowledgeable and well informed about Iceland's history and current affairs. Without this tour, we wouldn't have seen nearly as much.

What a fantastic experience - Big thanks to Troll.is and especially our incredibly good guide Iskren. We spent three days together in a cozy minibus visiting the Golden Circle and the South Coast and seeing fantastic places. Nature in Iceland is so impressive and picturesque - every few kilometres it looks different. Iskren has shown us many great places and has always told interesting stories and facts about these places, the culture and the history of the country. This tour is remembered as one of the best experiences of my life. And don't worry if not only nice weather is forecast: Our glacier hike was an impressive and mystical adventure because of the pouring rain and fog.

Travel with Troll recommended - This short tour got in so many experiences during my Iceland stopover -- and yet it never felt overly rushed. The guide -- David S. -- was fantastic and I felt like with his stories and information I really got to know quite a bit about this incredible country. Troll clearly has a huge involvement in the tourism industry here and they lived up to the reputation as a safe and fun provider!

The land of waterfalls, glaciers, geysers, lava fields, and the Northern Lights - Driver: John is very knowledgeable about the many different types of landforms and the history of Iceland and its people. We appreciated learning as much as we did about geography and geology and the changes that are affecting Iceland and that will affect us all. Tour: We saw so much and we were happy to have someone else driving us so we could take it all in and enjoy it. We do not believe we would have been able to do this on our own, and we were glad to enjoy the vistas and the sunny days that we were lucky enough to have. The views of the Northern Lights from the areas far outside of the cities were truly amazing. Communication: Viator/Troll Expeditions needs to ratchet up communication when it comes to some aspects of the tour. The hike to the ice cave is over a steep, rocky, uneven, stone-strewn "path" . The hike to the glacier was not as strenuous, but was longer than expected, creating an approximately 20 minute trek before the multi-hour glacier hike even began. The rigor of the experiences needed to be better explained so that appropriate decisions may be made in advance. Also, Troll/Viator should tell you that you will have no choice as to eating establishment for dinner on the two nights of the tour --- we were just brought to a restaurant and told to eat dinner (and pay for it on our own) the first night, and given no choice but to eat dinner (and pay for it) at the kitchen of the guest house on the second night. It also appears, from the credit charges for our dinner, that Troll may own the restaurant where we had to eat the second night. We would have appreciated having all of this information ahead of booking and traveling. Summary: we would recommend, as the good does outweigh the not so good. However, for future travelers, we hope the concerns will be addressed.
