As an adventurer who has scaled the world’s highest peaks and plunged into the depths of the most daunting canyons, I thought I had seen it all. Our journey began with a twist. The original tour was canceled, but the Mountaineers of Iceland, determined not to let us down, sent a guide named Inkie to whisk us away on a private tour. This unexpected turn of events only heightened the anticipation. We climbed into a massive truck with wheels that seemed to defy gravity, setting off on a path less traveled.

Inkie, our guide, was a fountain of knowledge, sharing tales of Icelandic history and culture as we traversed the rugged landscape. The ride itself was an adventure, the truck bouncing over the terrain, each jolt a reminder of the wild beauty surrounding us.
