Dont miss this trip when visiting Sevilla - Great experience. We had a beautiful day learning about the Doñana ecosystem, there were a lot of opportunities to see many species of birds and while sadly we could not spot a lynx, Diego our guide was always on the lookout. We ended the day at the dune system close to Matalascañas with a beautiful sunset. Top experience and special thanks to Diego who made it very enjoyable and fun!

EXPERIENCE IN DOÑANA EXPECTACULAR - Diego was our guide and it was amazing! From the first moment it made us feel at home, very comfortable and very professional. We went to the Rocio and there he drove in a jeep that was all joy and laughter, later we ate together and had a spectacular time, then we saw together with the sunset the dunes, which, although it costs a bit to climb them is totally worth it. He drew pictures of us on the sand on the beach so we could understand the story of Doñana. Quite a show. Experience highly recommended, I would repeat it a thousand times more. Thank you to Diego and the agency for this wonderful experience.

Great explore by 4x4 - An excellent trip despite the wet weather. Ramon was a great guide, knowledgeable and friendly, pointing out different types of wildlife along the way and explaining the history of Doñana and Rocio. Having a guide with a 4wd vehicle who knew his way round the myriad of tracks was the best way of exploring this National Park. Highlights were the visitor centre where we saw the captive breed Iberian Lynx family and the red deer. Highly recommended.

A great day - We had the most enjoyable day yesterday. Jose our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the whole day a delight. The pace was perfect and he kept the group interested and entertained throughout. He was extremely personable and approachable. I strongly recommend this trip and guide.

Had a terrific time, bad reviews dubious at best - The first thing I'll say is you might be seeing some reviews here which complain about long, uncomfortable car rides, unengaged, uninformative guides who speak little to no English, and not seeing any wildlife over the course of a day-long excursion. I can't speak to these people's experiences but ours was nothing but pleasant and fun. Our guide Jose had a thick Spanish accent- since, ya know, this is Spain, and you did decide to come here, in case you find that frustrating- but was far from unintelligible and spoke English very well, and was extremely charming and personable and knowledgeable about the area, its history and the various plant and animal life we saw along the way. He also obviously cares very much about his job and the integrity of the park as a natural habitat as he bemoaned the politics associated with it and the effects it had, particularly in the battle between the park and farmers over water availability there. It was a fascinating anecdote about something I was unaware of that was relevant to our trip, not a political rant from your uncle Bob, so don't take it that way. It is true, we did spend the vast majority of our time inside the vehicle driving around to different areas of the park, but it wasn't uncomfortable at all. I'm a 6'3" corn syrup-fed American male and I sat in the back and I was fine, so if your knees have no room in this thing, you should buy a bike. It was a standard SUV and you have freakishly long legs. Jose drove through places where we were most likely to see wildlife, and wildlife we saw. Alas, we did not see any lynx, but this was not unexpected. They are rare, endangered animals and this is not a zoo, it's their natural habitat and they are under no obligation to come out of the bushes and dance Flamenco for us. If you see any lynx, then you are extremely lucky, and either way, you will see plenty of other wildlife and terrain that will be delightfully foreign and unfamiliar to you...if you are not a prude and appreciate nature in general. You are considering going on a nature tour for a reason, yes? If it's any incentive, we saw a flock of flamingos from very close, which Jose said was pretty rare. I can see flamingos from 10 feet away anytime I want at my zoo back home but there's something special about seeing them in their own environment. And seeing a flock of flamingos flying over the water with their reflections shimmering in the morning light is pretty amazing. For the record, though we did spend most of our time in the vehicle, we DID get out plenty- to eat, to pee, and Jose would often pull over if he saw something and let us get out for five minutes or so to gawk and take pictures- which, by the way, he brought a camera and took photos which he sends to you later. Pretty cool. But trust me, you will not be held captive in an uncomfortable SUV the entire time as some of these reviews claim. And speaking of getting out to eat, the beach where the restaurant is he takes us to for lunch is stunning. In short, it was great. Jose is the man. The park is beautiful. We didn't see everything but we saw plenty of amazing things which were all new to us. The ride was long but comfortable and the company was good, and you DO get out an adequate amount. I almost forgot to mention- there is even a portion of the tour where you walk in the woods a bit and Jose fills you in on the various features of the forest along the way. So if you read anything to the contrary here, again, I can't speak to other people's experiences, but just keep in mind some people are never happy. We all know at least one. Go on this tour. If you even remotely enjoy the outdoors and are realistic, I guarantee you will have a blast.

Not the best use of 10 hours - I was really looking forward to this excursion and was disappointed. I am an English speaker and was placed last minute with the Spanish speaking group (I was the only solo traveler). They assured me the driver would translate to English, the tour guide made an effort, but I felt I was missing out on some of the narration. The van ride was pretty uncomfortable and I was squished in the front seat with a stranger. The day also felt longer than necessary and just skipped some of the portions I chose this tour in particular. I was hoping and assuming we would stop to see the birds and have binoculars and spotting scopes (as advertised), but this never happened (they assured me earlier in the day it was in the itinerary), nor did we ever switch to a 4x4 for exploring (not sure if this had an impact, but it was announced as part of the plan earlier in the day). We stopped for lunch for 90 minutes and, with an earlier stop at a cafe, it felt like a waste of time. I would much have preferred seeing more sights and the itinerary be more forthcoming. I’ve gone on many nature/wildlife centered tours over the years and this one was disappointing. I wouldn’t really recommend it to a friend.

Donana National Park - The guide was very knowledgable about the flora and the fauna in the area. Unfortunately there weren’t that many animals to see at the time. Not the guide’s fault of course. But we had hoped to be able to take some pictures and the opportunities were few.
