Highland Park - The first stop of the tour will be Highland Park, the highest point in Baku. From the park, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city, including major landmarks like Flame Towers, Parliament Building, State TV Channel Building and Broadcast Tower, Martyrs’ Lane, Chrystal Hall, National Flag Square, and more. You will walk through Martyrs’ Lane to the stairs known as “40 Stairs” where your driver will pick you up.

Baku Boulevard - Baku Boulevard, also known as the National Seaside Park in Baku, Azerbaijan, is a favorite promenade for many city residents and visitors and is the second largest in Europe after the park on the banks of the River Seine in Paris. Its history dates back over 100 years when Baku’s oil barons built their mansions along the Caspian shore, gradually developing the seafront. Today, the National Seaside Park in Baku spans 3,750 meters and is located on the southern coast of the Caspian Sea. It starts at the National Flag Square and ends at Freedom Square. The Boulevard area includes several museums, cultural facilities, malls, and entertainment centers, including the modern panoramic amusement ride – the Devil’s Wheel, which offers a beautiful view over Baku Bay.

Little Venice - “Little Venice” in Baku Boulevard is a small town built in 1960. It has since expanded to 10,000 sq.m. The town features two large and several small islands. The redevelopment of the “Small Venetian town” included the expansion of existing channels, the construction of additional bridges, and two restaurants, one offering Western cuisine and the other Eastern. Boats are available for 4 people: one for the guide and the rest for passengers. Located near the Caspian seashore, you will feel like you are in Venice by visiting the ‘Small Town of Venice’. The restaurants on the ‘islands’ offer various meals from different cuisines, including delicious Azerbaijani dishes. It is interesting to first explore the area in a gondola and then enjoy a great lunch or dinner on the ‘islands’. Currently, Mini Venice has several islands divided by pristine water channels. Beautiful ornate bridges connect these islands. You can hire a 4-seater Gondola for a ride around these islands. There is one Eastern and one Western restaurant in this complex.

Baku Old City - The tour will start from the main entrance of the Old City called Double Gates. During the tour, you will see the Chain, Sailor, and Cat Houses, Bukhara and Multani Caravanserais, Juma Mosque, and Maiden Tower. The guide will explain the history of the Old City and its buildings mentioned above. Shirvanshah Palace – the pearl of Azerbaijan’s architectural heritage, was the former residence of the rulers of Shirvan, located in the heart of Baku. In addition to the palace, the beautiful complex includes the Divan-Khan courtyard, tomb, mosque from 1441, as well as the bathhouse and mausoleum of court scholar Seyid Yahya Bakuvi. Later, Bukhara caravanserai, constructed in the late 15th century over the trade highway of Icherisheher in Baku. The caravanserai has a quadratic shape and salient portal, and its yard is octagonal. The caravanserai is surrounded by balconies and personal premises – chapels along the perimeter. The octagonal comfortable yard was a special hall under the open sky where travelers and merchants gathered after daily commercial operations. The crossing arch connected in general style along the full perimeter of the internal space of the yard within a direct frame, forming the main part of the architectural composition. The restoration works implemented in 1964 completely cleared the caravanserai building from later constructions and layers, revealing its large-scale structure against the background of the surrounding buildings. Maiden Tower is the Eiffel Tower of Baku. In the 12th century, it was used as a fortress of Shirvanshahs for defensive purposes. Maiden Tower’s architectural plan, seemingly simple, consists of walls that are extraordinarily thick at the base, starting at five meters in depth and gradually narrowing to four meters at the top. Today, the interior contains an interesting display of old photographs and a souvenir shop, but the highlight is the superb rooftop viewpoint surveying Baku Bay and the Old City. The views from the top are worth the climb, offering a sweeping panorama of the Old City, the new skyscrapers on the hills, and the Caspian Sea.

Maiden Tower - The Maiden’s Tower, which holds the story of true love, is the largest and most intriguing monument in Baku. It is located in the historical part of the city - the Inner City. The Maiden’s Tower, a bright symbol of Azerbaijani architecture, is the main attraction of the capital city. This monument represents an entire century and attracts tourists from all over the world.

Guba - Khinaliq Tour

Qecresh Bag - On the way to Khinalig (Khinalug) Village, you will have the opportunity to stop for pictures inside the Qecresh forest. In the forest, you will see local people who will offer horse rides.

State Historical, Architectural and Ethnographic Reserve Khinalig - During the Guba & Khinalug Tour, we will visit the north side of Azerbaijan. We leave Baku in the morning, with some stop-points in Guba City and Mesdargah. The first destination will be Khinalug. We will visit the highest village in all of Europe - Khinaliq! Khınalıq (2335 m) is Europe’s highest village. Its upper half retains many ancient stone houses that form distinctively austere stepped terraces up a steep highland ridge. The whole scene is often magically wrapped in spooky clouds that part sporadically to reveal 360-degree views of the surrounding Caucasus. Khinalug is an ancient Caucasian village dating back to the Caucasian Albanian period. It is located high up in the mountains of the Guba Region, Azerbaijan. Khinalug is among the most ancient and continuously inhabited places in the world, with a history of over 5,000 years. Because of its high altitude and remoteness, Khinalug has managed to survive and withstand many invasions.

Quba - Our next stop in Guba will be the ancient Handmade Carpet Factory called “Qadim Quba” where you will see the process of weaving carpets by the women of the city. You will have the opportunity to see how carpets, the copies of which are kept in the best world museums, are woven.

Gobustan & Absheron Peninsula Tour

Gobustan Rock Art - Your tour will start with a car picking you up from the hotel. The first destination will be Gobustan. The archaeological monument is located 56 km from the capital city, Baku. The artifacts and rock carvings were discovered in 1939 – 1940. As a result of the research, more than 3,500 human and animal paintings and various markings – petroglyphs were recorded, and 20 suburban shelters have been identified in this place. Mesolithic monuments (medieval stone) are mostly exhibited in the reserve. There are many caves and springs, carved by primitive men on the walls of caves, rocks, and stony lumps. First, you will visit the Gobustan Museum to gain better insights into the history of the area, then you will go by car to the Rock Mountain to see the real carvings.

Mud Volcanoes - After Rock Mountain, you will visit the Mud Volcanoes. For this, the transportation will be changed to Soviet Lada Cars. Those who wish can bring some strong plastic bags to collect some of the mud, which is said to be good for the skin. After spending 10 minutes around the volcanoes, you will be transferred back to your car.

Bibi-Heybat Mosque - The Bibi-Heybat Mosque includes the tomb of Ukeyma Khanum (a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad) and today is the spiritual center for the Muslims of the region and one of the major monuments of Islamic architecture in Azerbaijan. It is locally known as “the mosque of Fatima” which Alexandre Dumas, using the same name, described during his visit in the 1840s. The old mosque was located in the southern part of the tomb, while there was a 20-meter high minaret in the west part of the mosque. Later, a crypt and two niches were added to the mosque to the south of the minaret. On the niches, there were inscriptions containing the name Fatali Khan, whose tombstone marble slab is now in the State Museum of History.

Ateshgah - Fire Temple - The driver and guide will pick you up from the hotel at the specified time and drive directly to the Fire Temple. The temple is located in the southeastern part of the Surakhani settlement of the Absheron peninsula, 30 km away from Baku. Ateshgah is a fire temple built in the 17th-18th centuries in the place of the eternal flames of natural gas. The earliest building of the temple dates back to 1713, and the central temple was built in 1810 by merchant Kanchanagara funds. It was sanctified by Zoroastrians, Hindus, and Sikhs at different times. Zoroastrians from India traveled thousands of kilometers to Ateshgah to worship the fire coming out of the earth.

Yanardag State Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve - After the Fire Temple, your last destination will be the Fire Mountain. This natural burning flame is the result of natural gas emerging at the foot of the hill. The hill has been burning for approximately 4 millennia nonstop, even in times of rain and snow, with the roots of the gas extending as far as the Caspian Sea.
