At 7:30am, an English-speaking driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Rome and take you on a scenic drive through the Tuscan countryside. After approximately 2.5 hours, you’ll arrive in the charming town of Siena. Here, you’ll have free time to wander and discover the town’s hidden gems, from Piazza del Campo, where the famous Palio horse race occurs twice a year, to the stunning Duomo and its impressive Bell Tower.
Next, you’ll board the van and head to San Gimignano, often referred to as “the Manhattan of Tuscany” due to its numerous medieval towers built by noble families. In San Gimignano, you’ll also have time to explore and sample some of Italy’s best gelato.
But the highlight is yet to come.
