Great all-encompassing day in Sintra! - Vasco was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed spending the day with him and learned so much along the way. Our site visits were perfectly timed to avoid the crowds yet we never felt rushed. A wonderful day!

The Only way to see the National Palace of Pena and Sintra if staying in Lisbon! - My husband and I had a private tour with tour guide João to Sintra today and it was better than we could have expected! He was on time to pick us up at our hotel in a comfortable Mercedes Benz van. He started right away on the drive to Sintra in telling us the history of Lisbon and Sintra and pointing out interesting sites. We drove to the Palace of Pena first when it wasn’t that crowded. He had a thorough knowledge of the history and could answer any questions we had. Next we went to the Moors Castle which had a rich history. Then we drove into the town of Sintra which is charming as ever! We had some free time to have lunch at a restaurant that he suggested and we enjoyed. When we met back up with him he had a bakery treat for us to try-delicious! Off to the Quinta da Regaleira palace where we saw the famous Well, which had a long line and I didn’t think it was worth the wait but it definitely was and the line moved quickly. João knew how to pass the lines when needed, knew where to park so no long walking and is very experienced and knowledgeable which made for a wonderful day.
It was worth every penny!!

Great Experience - Miguel was a fantastic tour guide! His English was impeccable. He had all attractions timed perfectly. We saw so much and learned a lot about Sintra as Miguel was a wealth of information. Wow! I was hesitant to book a private tour due to expense but am so glad I did. There was no way I could have executed a Sintra on my own. Thank you for a great experience!! Highly recommend!

Exceeded Expectations! - Exceeded expectations! Joao is a great tour guide. He picked us up for touring the Sintra area and provided historical information in a logical manner. He went with us to Pena Palace, Mouro Castle, and Quinta da Regaleira along with the Palace and pointed out things we would not have noticed on our own, plus the best view spots. He dropped us off for lunch in Sintra and met us afterwards. We also enjoyed Pastel de Nada. It's the most efficient way to visit these monuments as you get so much more out of your visit with a personal guide and driver!

An excellent tour and just what we were looking to do - This tour covered exactly what we wanted and not the seaside town of Cascais which basically every other tour seems to include at the expense of not visiting one of the sites in Sintra. We had the very good fortune of having Simone as a guide and she explained so much more than any guidebook would have been able to do. All tickets were included and the timing if the tickets allowed plenty of extra time to wonder around. Simone was at our hotel door ahead of schedule and was ready and waiting for us. Originally this tour was fully booked months ahead and I had contacted the company asking to be put on a waiting list of possible clients should they have a cancellation. Frankly I never expected an email from them but as we were touring Lisbon on our own, we received a notice of sudden cancellation while we were still in town, and we immediately jumped on it. We were both very glad we did. A very big thank you to Margarita for keeping our contact info and contacting us. I recommend this tour and the company without hesitation.

Sintra by private tour-only way to go - Nuno was fabulous. Very well informed. He picked us up from our hotel and the tour included all of the tickets. This is the ONLY best way to see 3 palaces, castles in Sintra. There is a little but very little waiting in line. He knows what he’s doing. Very knowledgeable about the history… he lives in Sintra. Delightful, intelligent and fun to be with. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

Fun in Sintra - My husband and I took a private tour with Vasco and had an incredible day. The sights were amazing and we learned so much about numerology and symbolism. He is extremely informative, friendly, and experienced. He timed the tours to minimize waiting in lines so our day was efficient. He’s a great guide and we highly recommend him.
