Get out and see the beautiful north of Tenerife! - Having been to Tenerife many times before but never to the north of the island, we decided on this trip to book a full day out with Gloma Travel to explore some of the north. Our guide for the day was Diego who was excellent. Very accommodating to what we wanted and very knowledgeable with a helpful and pleasant manner throughout. This trip is a must as you will be so amazed by how beautiful the north of the island is away from all the tourists. Diego took us to some fantastic towns like Garachico and La Orotava that were so beautiful and peaceful. We were surprised at how much it seemed to resemble Latin America. Enjoyed a lovely lunch of local food in Garachico. Don’t just stay in your hotel in Tenerife. Use these guys to show you what a beautiful island you are staying in!!!

Private Tour Masca, Icod, Garachico - We had the excursion with Diego, an exceptional person in every sense, he did his job perfectly, stopping us even in places that were not on the tour, that came on the way, knowledgeable excellent of having fauna, flora and customs, took us to eat an extraordinary, cultured and polite guachinche. Highly recommended excursion in every way, you really cannot leave Tenerife without doing this excursion with Gloma travel

A perfect day - We had a great day with Carlotta! She made us enjoy Masca like locals, early, there was no one! Then Garachico, Icode and finally a quick visit to the Manrique basins in Puerto de la Cruz because I love the architect. Carlotta is energetic and full of life. A perfect guide for a perfect day. Wonderful time and Unique Experience! - Unforgettable Experience! My boyfriend and I had an amazing time in the Masca, Garachico and Icod Tour. We enjoyed the beautiful diverse landscapes with mountains, forests, and natural pools. Belen helped us having an amazing trip and drove us through the narrow roads. As a local, she was kind hearted and knowledgeable. She helped us understanding the Canarian history and culture. I would definitely recommend this activity as it is a must do if you want to visit the true beauty of the island! Thank you Belen, we won't forget it :)

Our fourth personal excursion with Gloma Travel and you could say it was out of this world! (Or felt like it!) - We have no words to describe how wonderful our trip was to Los Gigantes, Masca, some hidden places and Buena Vista! We loved the mind boggling diversity from one turn in the road to the next with our fabulous guide Diego, who was born and raised here in Tenerife. He was absolutely amazing, and showed us places so off the charts that he stopped in the middle of the road so I could take pictures quite a few times, because there was nobody out there! We didn’t pass one car and saw some spectacular places - one place looked like the moon or like a scene out of Star Wars. He knew where to go for the most delicious cheeses and local wines and fantastic food that the locals love. The roads can be hair pin turns, narrow, and very very steep with blind corners. When we visited the first time to Tenerife we rented a car and experienced all the craziness of not knowing where we were going and dealing with traffic and parking, or taking the buses which is an experience not that great. This time, we got to know the island with exquisite style, learning from a Tenerife native in English things we would have never understood. It’s difficult to say which of the four tours we recommend most, because they were each unique and spectacular, but I would have to say our special tour with Diego that introduced some new spots not previously offered on tour, was our personal favorite, mostly because some of the places we did not see another soul even though Masca and all the well known places were quite crowded. My son and I loved every single moment, and were very comfortable even on the wild roads and lots of traffic. I can highly recommend this tour or any one of Gloma travels private excursions because I know they treat you like family, and you feel like family! Thanks to Diego and Belén for guiding us on these magical tours, we have had the most incredible four days of our entire lives! We love Gloma Travel and I believe you will too. Highly recommended!

Amazing tour in Tenerife - Diego our driver and tour guide was exceptional. He navigated us through all the winding roads with expertise. Customized our trip to our liking and was not in a hurry to move to the next stop. This was an all day trip with stop for lunch. He gave very useful information about the sites and geography along the way. He even added an additional stop the was not included in the trip. Our conversation throughout the tour was pleasant and we felt that he genuinely cared that we had a good time. I would definitely recommend him to any one wanting to discover more about Tenerife.

1000/10 - This is by far the best tour I’ve ever gotten in any country I’ve visited (and I travel a lot). For my husband and I this was the highlight of the trip. We heard the drive to Masca was tough to do on our own so we decided to look into a private tour. This lead us to here and to Diego. Diego drove super safe and engaged us with incredible knowledge of the Island. There was plenty of time to walk around and really take in each area. We even sat down to grab a bite. It definitely felt like we were family as the day went on. I’ll never forgot this experience and all the beauty we saw. Thank you Diego

Very easy stress free way to see the island. - We had a great day out. Going on a private tour like this is the best way to see the island. Much much better than hiring a car and having to drive yourself especially on the very winding road down to Masca. No need to worry about finding a parking spot either as the guide takes care of that while we took pictures. Diego our guide was very knowledgable and we learned a lot about the islands history. He took us to some of his favourite viewpoints and took a slower route back to show us a the forest. Money well spend.
