Experienced driver - I took the trip from the Azure Window. Rony the driver was very knowledgeable and helpful and ably drove through the narrow streets of Gozo. Highly recommended.

What a driver - Great trip if you don’t want to organise something yourself. We got to see all of the Island and our driver Romy was an absolute legend. How he got the double decker through some of the streets and villages was an absolute master class in bus driving. For €20 it was well worth going in.

Good way to see the Island - popular with tourists. - As we went to Gozo for day trip felt best way to see the Island and understand the history. Can buy tickets on the ferry but not sure if you save anything on them. Very busy throughout the day and not sure how busy they would be at the height of the season. Buses ran to schedule - good driving in terms of getting around tight corners but at times it felt like a fairground ride as they don't seem to worry too much about stop signs.

‘Red’ bus route worked well for our 2nd visit to Gozo - This was our second visit to Gozo, now with the benefit of high speed ferry direct from Valletta. As we got the ‘green bus’ service last time, we got the red (City Sightseeing) this time. They stop in the same places but in a different order (in broad terms, red goes round the island clockwise and green anticlockwise). As we didn’t want to stop in Rabat (Victoria) , having been there and citadel last time, this route walked very well for us. Spent 1.5 hrs in Dwerja (gave us time to climb up cliffs to right, behind the church), same in Xlandi and a vg waterside lunch and harbour walk, and 45 mins on the beach at Ramala to round off the day. Whatever HoHo service you use, I recommend getting to to Gozo as early as you can and spending a full day. And if getting the high speed ferry and over 60, by the ticket for that separate from a HoHo ticket, as only €6 return. (NB. Some old reviews talk about ticket cost of City Sightseeing’s two routes; whilst it’s still shown as two routes it’s now effectively one and ticket covers it all).

Okay - It was okay. It didn't feel safe, half the seat belts don't work and the drivers don't wait for people to sit down before they drive off.

Waste of money - Even before we'd arrived at Gozo, we'd been offered three different prices, so make sure you're prepared. Better still, don't bother. Busses arrive only every 45 minutes and finish before 6pm. Unless you arrive really early, you're not going to get far. Far quicker just to get Bolt taxis.

Good route, slow bus arrivals - The stops that were listed were great, hit the tourist spots. However, the timing of the buses were not great. Two Malta Sight Seeing buses showed up for their schedule in the time that we waited at the Sliema ferry port for ours. When it did eventually arrive we made to Mdina. Leaving Mdina wasn't easy, The 15.10 bus arrived late and the bus waiting there said it wasn't leaving until the late bus arrived and was full, it did take us having to ask before it was explained to use.We ended up taking a taxi back to our hotel as we wanted to visit a few spots that day and were not going to make it with how the bus was operating.

Meh... we skipped two stops without reason... - I have a lot of respect for the bus drivers, making their way through the extremely narrow streets. However, they were always late (not by 5 minutes, more like 20 minutes) to picking us back up with the next bus. The last driver also blatantly, without any explanation skipped both Fontana and the Rotunda stops. Especially the rotunda we really wanted to see. Shame, as the rest of the island was nice to view from the top of the bus.

Lied to by employee selling tickets - We arrived on a cruise ship, went to the I see Malta bus kiosk outside the port. The dark haired woman representative sold us the tour, based on the information the bus ran every 30 minutes and the company had scheduled extra buses because three cruise ships were in town. We were told the ticket included a sunset boat tour of the harbor at six pm. When we arrived at the pick up point for the bus we were told the busses ran every hour and the last bus started at 5:30pm When we stopped at the sunset tour boat at 5:30 no one was there and the office located nearby was closed. The same employee gave false information to many other cruise passengers. Some employees were told the total bus ride took one hour. Some passengers were told the hours of operation were extended that day. This employee must work on commission and knew she would never see us again. She gave many people false information.
