The meeting point is at 8:45 AM at the Ortigia market (Burgio Salumeria), conveniently located near the port where cruise ships dock. The activity kicks off with an enjoyable stroll through the market streets to explore local delicacies. This experience includes: food tasting, insights into fresh and preserved foods, clever recipes, purchasing ingredients for the lesson, and a special gift of Teresa’s family cookbook, allowing you to enjoy cooking a variety of recipes for your loved ones at home. The Ortigia market tour lasts one hour, from 8:45 to 9:45 AM.

The cooking class, followed by lunch, begins at 10:00 AM at Teresa’s villa with a garden in the ARENELLA area, just a 15-minute drive away. A car is necessary, but transportation can be arranged for an additional €15 per person. Participants will prepare a traditional three-course meal and savor the dishes they create.
