Excursion passed by water - The experience was not perfect but only because of the weather (rain and even snow on the Teide). Jorge did his best to find the best spots to visit and avoid blizzards and in the end it was a very interesting and fun excursion despite not being able to see Teide at any time due to the clouds. Highly recommended as being a private tour, the visit was not cancelled due to the weather and we could know many parts of the north of the island. Very well also prior communication and punctuality.

Excellent private tours away from tourist areas - Had 2 private tours with Daniel firstly and then Belen in the north of Tenerife. Both of these were excellent. Got to see areas in the north that we wouldn’t have found by ourselves. Tours are totally tailored to your personal itinerary. Being driven in these areas was great as some of the roads were very narrow and twisty, felt very safe with both of our drivers. Local knowledge is key to these type of tours and both of our guides had this in spades. Tours were very good value for money given they were private tours, would highly recommend and would definitely use again when back in Tenerife.

Great private tour of the north - Our guide Belén was really nice and knowlegable! She gave us an amazing overview of the north and showed us some of some great spots. The tour stops are flexible and based on what you tell the guide you’re interested in. We enjoyed the tour and would consider doing another tour to discover even more! :)

Individual tours with a local guide in a private setting - We have already done two tours with GlomaTravel and can recommend the provider without exception! It shows you great authentic places in Tenerife, which are sometimes not in the guide. You will learn a lot of background knowledge and above all your own interests and preferences (beach, cities, forests, culture,...) will be taken into account. The tours described are not set in stone, but can be customized. Thus, no automatic program is played, but adapts to the guest. To the itinerary: you are picked up in a car and driven from place to place on the island. In some spots you stay longer (and if necessary walk a bit) than in others, but never longer than you want. We ate at our request both times in local restaurants. Overall highly recommended! (If you want to do something good for the local provider, you don't book through a third-party provider like GetYourGuide, but directly through the GlomaTravel website, where similar cancellation policies also apply)

Impressive trip along the north coast - Indira is a competent and courteous tour guide who has arranged for us (despite very mixed weather) a beautiful and informative trip along the dramatic north coast. It was already our second private tour with Gloma-Travel (we were passengers of Mein Schiff 7) but certainly not the last!

Wonderful trip - We had a wonderful 6-hour trip with our guide Belen. Compared with the sun and beach in south Tenerife, this trip to the north Tenerife is such a unique experience. It's a good mixture of historic towns and natural wonders. Belen is a wonderful guide. She's very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

A Remarkable Tour of central Tenerife Conducted by Belén - We had a wonderful day trip with Belén. She picked us up at the Grand Mencey Hotel in Sanata Cruz . We went into the mountains to the foot of Teide and then back to the north coast through her home province of La Orotawa. Belén proved to be a very knowledgeable, patient and personable guide. We had arranged with the Director of the Izana Atmospheric Observatory to briefly visit. Established in 1916, it is one of a handful of high mountain Global Atmospheric Chemistry laboratories measuring greenhouse gases, dust and pollution particles that are coordinated under the Global Atmosphere Watch programme of the World Meterological Organization. We not only saw the amazing wonders of the high mountains of Tenerife but also were able to visit this laboratory. Thanks Belén for making our visit to Tenerife a very memorable one.

Highly recommended and memorable experience with a friendly local guide - Our guide Indira was outstanding. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Tenerife...as well as the other Canary Islands. She had studied Geography at university and remarked that she had spent a year in London as part of her degree. Not surprisingly her English was excellent as she explained in depth about how the mountainous geography of the island produced the difference between the climate in the North of the island with its more abundant rainfall caused by warm humid air colliding with the mountains, and how the south was protected from these clouds and was more sunny. She also explained how the landscape varies between Tenerife/Gran Canaria and the easterly islands of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. She was very good at explaining why conditions in the North were good for the native forests and for growing crops etc and was well informed about the history of the places that we visited, including recent events that had taken place in Masca and its history as a Guanche settlement. She was fun to be with and chatted with us in Spanish to help us practice. The conversation was free flowing and the drive was so relaxing. Indira was keen to answer any questions that we had and even sent us some links to interesting things we talked about. At one of the towns we stopped at she introduced us to a truly authentic barraquito coffee that I’d not heard of before. After interesting stops at beautiful Garrachio and Icod de los Vinos she drove us back to our hotel in Santa Cruz. She asked if it was ok to have some music on which was fine by us, and we explained the more sinister meaning of the lyrics in the hit song,”Every Breath You Take” In summary , a fascinating 6 hours with a charming guide. The best way to see some of the highlights of Tenerife without a car and to fall in love with this stunning island.

A fantastic tour through the untouched part of Teneriffa! - Indira picked us up right at the port and we spent 6 hours with her in a comfy minibus just for us, exploring the north of the island! I really liked the tour, especially as it was very off the beaten track and every single spot we visited was beautiful and spectacular! We had as well enough time to browse around by ourselves to take pictures and just enjoy the atmosphere of the places! Indira is a great guide. She knows very well the needs of her customers and we had the feeling we are visiting Teneriffe with a friend! Her knowledge about the island is stunning, we could ask her everything. I really liked the way she treated us, don’t hesitate to book a tour with Gloma Travel and her, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Big recommendation!!! - The trip was just perfect. Diego was very friendly and was able to answer every single question regarding Tenerife (language, food, history, volcanos, plants, weather). The stops were adjusted to our needs, which was great. All in all a big recommendation!
