Exceptional - My hubby & I booked the tea ceremony. We both changed into traditional clothing. There was a short amount of time before the ceremony to take photos. Being somewhat older we were offered a chair to sit on for the ceremony.
After the ceremony we took a few photos outside in the garden. Rain hindered too many outside photos. We made our way back downstairs for a few more photos.
We had booked a combo ticket so walked 5mins to the museum.

Fantastic kimono experience in Tokyo! - The attendants putting on our kimonos were very helpful in picking out the correct size..It was a wonderful and very informative tea ceremony . I loved making the Matcha tea!!

Great! - Great learning experience!! They’re very helpful and kind. We thought we were running late but they were very nice about it. Yuri hosted our tea ceremony and she did a great job.

Amazing tea ceremony experience! - Wonderful, hands on experience with the wagashi making and tea ceremony. Great selection of kimono as well. The hosts were so nice and helped us take photos as well.

The best experience I had... - The best experience I had in Tokyo! The host was very gracious and held the tea ceremony to the utmost perfection. It was really cool to wear the kimono, learn about the customs of the tea ceremony, make the matcha tea/eat the sweets, and take pictures in the kimono afterwards! Loved every second!
