A super fun experience when in Tokyo!! - So much fun, and Jin was an awesome instructor! There was also an opportunity to take photos with our hakama outfit and samurai sword, which my friends and I all really enjoyed.

Samurai Musueum review - It was amazing!! They let us wear ninja costumes. We also went on a history tour. We had to guess which armor was the most expensive! I recommend it for kids who are into ninjas and samurai.

Trip highlight - Take the samurai sword lesson with a 200 year old sword from a 6th generation samurai. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Such a neat experience. If you’re confused when you book: we booked the samurai sword lesson and that included a guided tour of the museum, sword lesson and ninja star throwing (but not in costume). Awards we went to Kura sushi’s flagship store in Asakusa for dinner. Such a great evening!

Good - Think they could do with making the groups smaller, trying to take photos was difficult as there was people everywhere. Especially on the first dress up part. You don't use real swords, but the practice was fun regardless, the museum part, probably not the best for children as it's a lot of talking and no interactive displays.

Decent activity, too many people allowed in a group. - The activity itself is probably 4 stars, but there were just too many people booked and accepted as walk ups. The room is probably large enough for 8-10, but there were over 20 people in along with our family of 5.

You don’t get to use a real sword at all! - Learning the moves of how to use a katana with the practice sword was enjoyable. The museum tour was also informative and it was fun throwing the plastic ninja stars. YOU DO NOT GET TO CUT A TATAMI MAT WITH A REAL KATANA! This was my main reason for doing this tour. Unfortunately, due to a change in law they cannot. It should be removed from the itinerary of included activities!
