Book the trip with the Goats.. the Safari Goats. - If there is one thing to take from my review it is... book the trip with Safari Goats This entire trip was an out of world experience. I have never felt sad leaving a trip, and coming home. It was all thanks to Safari Goats and team. From Eddy & Chricensia coordinating the whole trip for us and answering every question we had with quick communication. To Amari, Collin, Hamisi, and Uncle (inside joke) taking care of us every step of the way. They treated us like family, and accommodated us perfectly. If you are hesitating to work with Safari Goats, don't, book the trip. If you want to read on for details, you can. We booked this trip and ended up with a private safari, which I didn’t realize until we arrived—but it made the experience so much better. From the extra space in the vehicle to personalized conversations, everything felt more tailored. If you're a photographer, the ability to move freely around the vehicle for that perfect shot is invaluable. Our car was always stocked with water and soft drinks, and a big bonus was the food. While we noticed other companies serving boxed lunches with just fruit, a sandwich, and a drink, we enjoyed freshly cooked meals every day. The team also arranged the perfect guide for our hike up Ol Doinyo Lengai—a local Maasai who was nothing short of exceptional. Honestly, we wouldn’t have made it to the summit without him. In just two days, we saw the Big Five and every other animal we could think of. When I showed the photos to locals at the lodges, they mentioned that some people take seven days to see what we saw in two. Maybe we were lucky, but our driver stayed in constant communication with others via walkie-talkie, tracking down the exact animals or rare sightings we were hoping for. We also had an extra day in Arusha, which we had planned to handle on our own. However, the Safari Goats team welcomed us to hang out at their HQ, arranged for their "Uncle" to take care of us, and even provided a driver the next morning to take us back to JRO for our flight home. One of the highlights of my conversation with the team was learning about how Safari Goats operates and their company culture. Having worked for several startups in the US that emphasize a strong culture, I was impressed by how well Safari Goats has perfected it. Every employee I spoke with praised the company's competitive wages, flexibility in work hours to accommodate personal and family needs, and overall satisfaction with how the business is run. After spending over an hour discussing these aspects, I felt even more confident in choosing Safari Goats over a larger touring company. If you want to hear some of the lowlights, that actually ended up being highlights once we got home, because story telling is better on lowlights than highlights. We did have our car breakdown about 3 hours out from Arusha heading home. It was honestly a bit unsettling being in the middle of nowhere and also just at the mercy of the team, but they scheduled a driver to come get us within 15 minutes, and even upgraded one of our stays in Zanzibar for the troubles. We also got stuck one day in some thick sand, but another Safari Vehicle came across us and pulled us right out. There are so many people on safaris that if anything goes wrong, you're bound to run into another that can help you. The entire industry is really supportive of eachother and everyone is just so friendly it is mindboggling. Well, that's it, I had the best time ever, a core memory I will cherish till I die. If I could go back and do it all again, I wouldn't hesitate, I am actually a bit bummed I can't typing this all out.

G.O.A.T.S - Amina is by far the best at personalizing private tours and including special touches for special celebrations. She is always available and willing to make any desired changes to ensure you have the best experience. Colin is really knowledgeable and pleasant. We had the best time with him during the Materuni Waterfall hike with Barack and the Coffee Boys. Frank is a gem! I still don’t know how he managed to drive for hours to a new location each day. He made sure we saw the Big Five and then some! Frank you are family now. (BDA) Safari G.O.A.T.S is legitimately the Greatest Of All Times Safari. If you have not booked with them, you will miss out on an authentic Safari experience! Thank you all!!

A trip marred with creases in the beginning, smoothened by the Greatest of All Times! - What do you expect from a good tour operator??? Being from India, we are used to everyday hustle and glitches in almost everything we do. But this time, it was different. Our trip started with a major glitch. Our first flight from Mumbai (Kenya Airways) got delayed, which caused a missed connection of two subsequent flights. It put our whole tour plan in jeopardy. We were about to lose hundreds of thousands of Rupees and a highly anticipated trip to African safari. What do you expect from a good tour operator??? A good support when needed, when you are on altogether different lands. What do you expect from a great tour operator??? An extended, humble, prompt, extremely well-coordinated support when your highly anticipated tour is about to face cancellation due to no one's fault. That's what exactly Safari GOATS did. Their extremely well-timed and well-coordinated support, both emotional and logistical, proved to be monumental during our visit. Hamisi, our sales contact coordinated extremely well with his contacts in Kenya to transport us from Nairobi to Arusha by land transport in a timely and comfortable manner, when the Airline failed to provide a reasonable connection in time. Without Hamisi, we believe our tour would've perished at the start itself! Due to a great team effort from Safari GOATS, we not only reached Arusha in time, but also had an absolutely incredible, humbling, raw yet luxurious tour experience throughout our stay of 6 days! When Eddie, the company owner, received us at Arusha, his smiling welcome made us forget the fatigue. We'll always remember his words, "Nature gives you what you deserve, NOT what you want". And guess what, apparently we deserved the BIG5 on day 1! Adam was our tour guide cum driver and his knowledge of wildlife and safari routes was impeccable. We don't remember a single instance when we threw a question at Adam and he was unable to answer it. He always had answers, always! That too in great detail. He was always smiling, accommodating, and comforting. He never hushed the trip. We had a kid with us and Adam had become his good friend! :D Seriously Eddie, you have assembled a great bunch of enthusiastic people to run your company. Hope you read this review. You indeed deserve a good review and great growth ahead. Hope to see you again. I'll certainly visit Tanzania again in my lifetime. Hope it still remains as accommodating, raw and comforting as it is now!

NUMBER 1 IN TANZANIA - Stop! Look no further for the BEST tour guides in Tanzania. Eddie and the G.O.A.T.S team are Number 1. Let me explain why... All tour operators have access to the same wildlife parks, but only the BEST operators know how to get you the BEST locations for photos, and give you the best experience. 1) SERVICE: Outstanding customer care. Eddie had the experience to know when and how to look after his European guests. He went above and beyond to ensure that we felt amazing. 2) EXPERIENCE: The accommodation was high-luxury! The food was delicious. The game-drive and animal safaris were mind-blowing. Only Eddie can get YOU to the best places in the Serengeti. My wife and I had the most AMAZING time of our lives. Thanks Eddie!

AMAZING SAFARI AND EXPERIENCE - Trip of a lifetime - We had an amazing Safari in Tanzania with Safari Goats! Eddy is just an amazing guide that truly respects nature, knows anything you will ask him, is an incredible human being and just does everything that you get the trip that is perfect for you! He is never tired of stopping once again, explaining one thing and letting you be part of this incredible nature. I would not think a second booking a safari again with safari goats as I had a trip of my lifetime!! It was just amazing and what we saw was way more than we ever expected and mindblowing! But our trip an experience was truly great because of Safari Goats and the kidness, openminded, enthusiastic and loving and caring way of Eddy! Safari Goats truly wants to create an individual trip just for you and your needs! I am still mindblown - trip of a lifetime! THANK YOU SAFARI GOATS!!!
