• Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park - Jozani Forest is the largest expanse of native forest on Zanzibar. On a guided tour through the forest, visitors will discover the various monkey species unique to Zanzibar. Groups of Zanzibar Red Colobus monkeys can be seen leaping from branch to branch in search of food. These monkeys are accustomed to humans and allow visitors to photograph them as they eat, play, and leap among the treetops. After observing the red colobus, visitors can walk to the Pete-Jozani Mangrove Boardwalk. This path winds through coral thicket vegetation, mangrove forest, and over a creek. Walking through the mangrove forest is vital to Zanzibar’s ecosystems, offering a habitat for numerous lizards, snakes, and birds, while also preventing coastal erosion.
• Kuza Cave - A guide will lead visitors to Kuza Cave, a natural swimming pool, where they can enjoy a swim after a brief history lesson. Later, traditional music played by local guides enhances the experience. Swimming typically lasts about 90 minutes in this welcoming environment for nature enthusiasts and swimmers.
