amazing tour - This place is amazing. It is truly a miracle. The trip is quite tiring but totally worth it. I recommend it to those who have limited time and want to see something exceptional.

A day to remember - A day trip to Petra from Tel Aviv means a lot of travel and some complex logistics. This all felt handled really well by Tourist Israel. They never lost sight of the fact that it's a big day for us, while keeping everyone alert to our individual responsibilities as we cross a border in a fraught political region. This isn't the EU or the US! And when you finally reach your destination it's all worth it. An amazing breathtaking few hours at one of the world's great archeological sites. And if you're lucky, as we were, the crowds soon thin out as you wander away from the hubub of The Treasury (which alone is worth the visit) to the quiet and equally fascinating corners of this wonderous site, where art, architecture and the living rock have combined and rub shoulders with time.

Great day trip to Petra! - Great time; Petra is amazing. Kareem was an amazing tour guide. just know what you are getting yourself into - it is a very long day (25 hours from when we left our hotel to get the bus until we returned to our hotel); and the 3 mile walk in the summer heat is hard. But - it is worth it!!!

Unforgettable day in Petra, Jordan - An unforgettable one-day visit to Petra in Jordan thank to well organised tour by professional and friendly staff from both sides, in Israel and in Jordan. The professional drivers made the long way to Petra smooth and enjoyable, and the tour operators explained each step at the border crossing that took only minutes. A knowledgable and sympathetic guide in Petra added more colours to the bright surroundings in Petra with the story about a long abandoned, but still so vivid ancient city. A lunch in the local restaurant after a long day full of impressions was just right before travelling back. ! Well-organised travellers would feel that there is also enough time for souvenirs and photos along the way. ! At the border crossing - as some passports require entry visa to Jordan and some not, please check again with the tour operators if your country is registered correctly in their documents to avoid paying unnecessary fees for visa. ! Please follow advice what to take with you for the tour to make your journey comfortable. ! The walk from entrance to the main attraction in Petra takes ca. 45 min. ! For those who prefer the faster way - there are golf cars (at extra cost) to get you to the main attractions in Petra. ! The entry ticket to Petra included a short horse ride. ! Not all attractions can be visited in one day, as the area is large. Some travellers might prefer to stay two or three days in Petra, but I have enjoyed every minute of my one-day journey to such unforgettable place.

Great experience with the best guide, Karim! - The tour was amazing, tiring but definitely worth it! But what made it even more amazing it was Karim, the best guy we’ve ever had! This guy conveys, shares, teaches, preaches knowledge, love, passion, peace… everything we’ve ever wanted and more! We had a stop, 20-30 before arriving to Petra. He took two big loaves of pita and shared them with all the people! He made sure that everyone is drinking enough water, because it was very hot, that we’re all together, that we have enough breaks, showed us the most important sights, he has a fabulous and playful sense of humour, he was literally like a father! Thank you, Karim!

Petra 1 Day tour from Tel Aviv - Pros: The itinerary is as listed on the website. You won't be with a tour guide until you cross the border to Jordan. The boarding crossing is well organised with an English speaking guide who meets you coming off the bus at the boarder and helps you through the whole process. You then meet your tour guide who is with you the whole time in Jordan. Our tour guide Kerrim was amazing!!!! I cannot express in words how caring, knowledgeable and safe he made us all feel. Very clear instructions and information was given by Kerrim throughout the whole time in Jordan. He will guide you throughout the entrance of Petra until the treasury where we had free time. Thank you thank you thank you Kerrim! Cons: It is a long day bear in mind that the times listed on the itinerary is only a rough guide. We were picked up on time at 0200am however did not get back to Tel Aviv until 0230am not 2330 as listed online. It was the same bus driver who picked us up from Tel Aviv to the boarder and vice versa. The bus driver did not speak English and was using a phone translator to communicate with the group. This needs improving. The bus driver does not know anything about your tour (same bus for those going to Petra for 1,2 or 3 days). We are trusting a random bus driver in the middle of the night who is saying he is driving us all to the boarder. Fast driving at times and on the way back to Tel Aviv a couple of random passengers were picked up. It seemed like they knew the bus driver however this can make passengers feel unsafe and wondering who they are.

Good! But watch out at pick-up location - Overall it was a great experience for a full day! The major downside is the lack of assistance at pick-up. No one from the tour is present for check-in and the bus driver did not speak English and was unable to assist. There are other tours provided by this company with the same pick-up location so it can be confusing since there is no one there to organize and confirm you are getting on the correct bus. Border crossing assistance was great, if only it was the case for the pick-up in Tel aviv. Very long bus rides and they are uncomfortable so be prepared! Many rest stops since there is no bathroom on the bus, probably too many and was unnecessary.

A mismatch of info that kinda worked out - So to start of Kareem the guide in jordan was great and the only saving grace Here are my issues 1. The trip says 13 hours but it was literally 23 hours so that wasn't true and it wasn't even busy 2. The agent outside put me on the wrong bus on a wrong trip so i had to completely move the rest of my trip to go to the actual trip i wanted to go on which was petra 3. They stopped like 3 times both ways 20-30 minutes to get breaks which was most definitely not needed 4. I paid to go straight to petra not to pick up and drop off people in a whole different city which I don't remember seeing anything about that which killed literal hours.
