Fabulous morning with Phong - We spent a wonderful morning with our guide, Phong, and just one other couple. Phong had so much to tell us, and also happily answered any questions that we had. The floating market was very interesting, and it was a special experience to have our breakfast of phô, sitting in a small boat on the Mekong, looking about at all the boats. We also had two opportunities to try a number of different fruits, and to try our hand at noodle making. Thanks Phong, for a great morning!

Highy recommended - Our tourguide, Phong, spoke very fluent english and was super friendly, informative and engaged. After the tour we even stopped to try some durian fruit, so he is really flexible as well. Overall the tour went far beyond our expectations and we highly recommend it.

Unforgettable Mekong Delta experience with Phong! - I just had the most amazing experience on the Mekong Delta floating markets morning tour from Can Tho! Our guide, Phong, was absolutely fantastic. His English was perfect, and his enthusiasm made the whole trip so much fun. The markets themselves were fascinating, and Phong explained everything in a clear and engaging way. We even got to try some incredible local food! I learned so much and had a blast doing it. If you're thinking about taking this tour, you absolutely have to request Phong as your guide! He's the best!

Nice trip with extra portion of fun - We did the trip to the Cai Rang floating market, a local garden and into a side arm of the Mekong. It was a very nice trip and we had a lot of fun. Toby is definitely one of the most fun guide we have ever met and he made the tour special! He is also a talented photographer and took a lot of nice photos from us. Thank you! Side note: The Cai Rang market is not that attractive to the locals anymore. Expect it to be touristy but nevertheless it’s very interesting and the trip is absolutely worth it!

Times are changing - 5 stars for our lady boat driver and personable guide. I especially enjoyed learning about the differences between Vietnamese and Chinese languages from him and how Vietnamese came to use the Roman characters. 3 stars for the market itself. Sadly for those who are hoping to see exuberant colorful floating markets, this market is not that. It is now quite small as trade has shifted to the roadways, with tourist boats and tourists outnumbering the actual market boats. Sidling up to a boat serving hot soup was quite the experience. The noodle factory, though mostly there for tourist consumption was still very interesting.

Great tour - Great tour, floating market was very quiet because of Têt holiday but still a nice outing. Our Guide Phong was amazing and very knowledgeable about the area and local plants, bird life. We stopped on a market boat for a coffee, tea and local fruits. The locals were very welcoming. Then we visited a rice noodle factory and participated in the making. We also visited a lovely orchard with beautiful trees and flowers.
