Transfer from Karakol city to the starting point through the lush Karakol Valley with its gushing rivers. Hike in this serene environment up to the expansive Sirota Campsite at 3000 meters. Spot grazing herds of horses enhancing the natural beauty. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch. Afterward, take a walk around the area and relax in this tranquil spot surrounded by spruce trees.

Ala Kul Lake to Keldyke Valley over Ala Kul Pass

Ala Kul Lake - Trekking distance/time: 9 km, 7 hours, Ascent: +850m

This day presents a challenge with strenuous walking through scree and boulders before reaching the lake in 3 hours. After a few hours of demanding ascent, be rewarded with the stunning Ala Kul Lake at 3500 meters, fed by surrounding glaciers. The view of this turquoise alpine lake is breathtaking. Enjoy lunch on the lake’s shore. After lunch, proceed to Ala Kul Pass at 3950 meters. The craggy and glaciated peaks of Terskey Ala-Too become visible at the top of the pass. Take time to admire these towering peaks of the great Tian Shan Range. Descend the steep path towards the campsite in the beautiful Keldyke Valley at 3200 meters.

To Altyn Arashan Valley and Hot Springs

Altyn Arashan - Trekking distance/time: 11 km, 4 hours, Ascent: – 750m

After breakfast, head to the yurt camp along the lush green pastures and gently flowing rivers of Altyn Arashan Valley, a 3-4 hour trek. At some point, cross one of the streams, but the water level is low. Arrive at the yurt camp at 2450 meters. Altyn-Arashan means ‘Golden Spa,’ and this valley is renowned for its hot sulfur springs. Enjoy a bath in the hot spring pools after three days of hiking to relieve muscle pains.

To Ak Suu village – Karakol City

Karakol - Trekking distance/time: 10 km / 4 hours, Descent: – 450m

Take a hike around the area to visit wild springs before leaving the campsite at lunchtime. The sight of the snow on Peak Palatka at 5260 meters or the ‘Swallow’s Nest Pool’ beneath the open sky is unforgettable. In the afternoon, hike to Ak Suu village (4 hours) where a driver will pick you up for a 30-minute drive to Karakol city. The trail mostly follows a beautiful river gushing through the valley. Accommodation at your hotel.

Amazing trek - This trek is amazing. We did this this trek with the company visit Alay and everything went perfect. The communications before the trek were very good.Azi kept us informed on what we needed for the trek. Our guide Sanjo was really good and we had lots of fun with the porters
