Amazing trip - They took us to the reindeer farm in two buses. First we were able to unload our unnecessary things in the lavvu. Tea, hot chocolate, coffee and a little cake were already prepared on the table. Our guide explained the program, what time we would have dinner, how long and how we could feed the reindeers. One of a kind experience, we adored it. If you were cold, you could go back to warm up at any time, or you could do it outside by the fire. Everyone we met was fantastically kind and smiling. They were happy to answer our questions. We would like to thank Kristian for his knowledge and presentation and stories about his people, the Sami. We left with wonderful experiences and knowledge. The speech in the Sami language at the end of the program made my eyes water. I am so grateful to have been there.

An excellent experience - not to be missed! - Tour operator was very professional. Overall a fantastic experience with a well thought out itinerary. We didn’t feel rushed. The reindeers are indeed adorable and given plenty of time to mingle and enjoy the experience. Our Sami guide did an excellent job explaining his culture. Although the group size was large - there were 2 buses and the group was split into 2 so we didn’t feel the crowd. Bus drivers drove safely. A really well organised tour. One of our best experiences in Tromso.

Reindeer! - Sami culture and reindeer, an excellent day. Our guide walked us through the needed safety protocols and we were able to feed the reindeer. We were then feed reindeer soup and given cultural information and awareness of the Sami people.

When in Norway - It was very nice to learn about the saami culture. Activity is as advertised, feed some reindeer, get fed some reindeer and listen to someone talk about the saami way of life. All in all a pleasant experience.

Great family day out - Collected on time and given an itinerary for the day , snow suits and boots provided free of charge if required. Had the option of booking sledding on the day which was great. Would highly recommend and the talk with Ayli in Samo culture was very interesting.

Beautiful setting to interact with reindeer - Great tour! The camp is in an area of stunning beauty, in a valley between snow-capped mountains. It was an hour-long scenic drive, and the guide explained what we were going to see and gave us some ground rules. There were plenty of reindeer for us to see and feed, and several places to warm up in between. The Saami guide was passionate about sharing his culture. We had a lovely reindeer stew.

The lady who did the morning Sami experience talk on Dec 31, 2025 made the experience very insightful; and she patiently shared her experience and answered questions. Highly recommended

Satisfactory - Good to do when in Tromso … but we couldn’t do Reindeer sledge ride (however later did a husky ride in Kirkenes) … location was beautiful… Reindeers were well maintained… food was good… but overall it didn’t feel that special

Loved it - Great time feeding the reindeer and taking in the views of the mountains. The lunch was delicious and it was interesting to hear about the Sami culture.
