Great evening! - Great experience. The reindeer were about 1 hours ride from Tromso on a comfortable bus. We had plenty of time to feed the reindeer and stroke them (they were very calm around people). We then sat down and had some delicious stew (and we were allowed to go back for extra portions if we wanted to). Out Sami host then began to tell us about their fascinating culture but he was interrupted by a superb aurora showing which meant he paused to allow us all to take in the breathtaking display outside. The only downside is we didn't get to hear the rest of our guides talk on Sami culture. A lovely, memorable evening.

An experience to have in Tromso - It was an enriching experience experience feeding the reindeers and listening to the Sammi culture. A tour to book if you wish to have a close up with the reindeers and know about the Sammi culture.

Heartwarming - John shared his Sami culture with us in a very meaningful way. He taught us about the history of the Sami people and their passion for preserving their culture.

An ok excursion - It's was nice to see how gentle Reindeers are. The night was made with an awesome Aurora. The Reindeer soup was pretty bland and the talk wasn't great either. Left still wondering what the Samis actually are. The guy just told us what each month in Sami was. A very large group too.

Fun experience and spectacular Northern Lights - Feeding the reindeer is a short experience but unique. Dinner in yurt was warm and heaps of food. The Northern Lights were spectacular that night so we spent most time outside viewing but disappointed not to hear more about Sami culture.

Recommended - We met many reindeers and fed them. They are so cute and friendly. Then we ate the reindeer soup, it was good. We also learned about sami culture.

Good if you want to pet reindeer - The bus ride was comfortable. The reindeer visit was as expected. The indoor area was cramped. The restrooms didn’t have urinals and weren’t designed for men and three of them at least had problems with the door not closing or locking. The food was pretty good but there was a shortage of cups and water. Maybe during slow times it’s better.

Fine but very commercial, sledding not provided - The staff were mostly nice, all very friendly except the man who was told to help us with our snow suits. The reindeer experience was fine though there was no help in how to approach or feed them and several reindeer head butted a few people which resulted in bad brusing and pain that no one seemed to care about. They claim the reindeer were wild despite being fenced in, and I was disappointed in how heavily commercial the whole experience was in busing in large groups and pushing us through with no care or anything to give us anything but a routine commercialised experience. The shop had nice things but they all cost twice the amount of what you pay in town for the same thing. The stew was disappointing, very watery and so over cooked the meat had a weird tough, lumpy texture. They were supposed to provide a dog spedding experience which was dropped quietly and they only told a few people we'd get a partial refund but had to ask for it but no one explained how. It was also not explained why we couldn't do what was promised as there was certainly plenty of snow. The tour was only good for spending time with reindeer but that was it. Unfortunately another misleading tour in Tromso.
