Nice day - Thanks to good weather there was a lot to see, so our guides Marie and Tobias also did a little bit of fjord cruise. At the more open parts it was really shaky, but we got some tips to prevent sea sickness. Worked for me, but you consider taking travel pills along (recommendation from the prep email). After arrival at the spot, we mostly saw humpback whales, we were kind of surrounded, really good day. So manage your expectations, no orcas there that day, and the humpback whales usually don‘t jump like everybody knows (at least in norway). If you don‘t expect it like a zoo, you will have a good time. Bring binoculars (or a camera with optical zoom) if you can.

Just book! - Just great from start to finish
Great crew, interesting information, comfortable cabin. Even with a nearly full ship, it didn’t feel crowded. Bonus to see hump back and sperm whales and northern lights on the way home!

Animal friendly Tour - It's freezing cold. The guide explained a lot, and it was obvious that she really loves whales and other sea animals. In the boat, it's more cozy than on deck. We've seen and heard a few whales and I didn't had the feeling that we where bothering them (like it seemed by a few other boats)

Fred and Crew are the best . . . - This trip was absolutely perfect. The boat is amazing with great food and drink options. You can stay outside and enjoy the breathtaking scenery and since the tour goes pretty far out you get to see such wild landscapes. But the main reason it was perfect was because of the staff. Fred and the 2 main crew members were so understanding, fun, knowledgable and kind. They led the experience and gave us the best day. No matter what you wanted to do, they provided you with a great time. You learn so much from Fred in the most engaging way.

Exceptional tour! - This tour is an absolute must-do! Not only did we receive fascinating and informative details about the whales throughout the tour, but we were also lucky enough to see several types of whales, including orcas! The staff is exceptional at spotting and pointing out the whales, ensuring a fantastic experience.
The heated lounge area is incredibly comfortable, with comfortable seats, providing a perfect space to relax. We had a spot by the window with a large table, which gave us the opportunity to play a game or take a nap while enjoying the view.
Although we brought some snacks with us, the bar offers an excellent selection of drinks. The whale tail-shaped cookies were delicious and adorable.
Overall, the experience was outstanding, largely thanks to the professional and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend this tour!

Recommended - It was a great experience overall, even with a large group of people. Arriving 15-20 minutes early is definitely recommended to secure your preferred seating.
We were lucky to see three different species, some of them quite close, which was absolutely amazing. The feeling of being so near to these majestic creatures is unforgettable.
The services were excellent, and a special shoutout to Isabella and the second lady, a Norwegian (I regret forgetting her name). Both were incredibly knowledgeable about the Arctic and whales, making it a pleasure to listen to them.
Highly recommended for anyone interested in nature and marine life!

Amazing - The trip started at 8am so it was still dark out, as it got lighter the views of the surrounding fjords were incredible!
The boat was spacious and comfortable and if you bought coffee, you had free refills for the rest of the trip.
We eventually reached the areas where the whales were and it was amazing! Unfortunately did not see any orca but alot of sperm whales!
The crew were enthusiastic, informative and helpful. They regularly gave us updates along the trip and told us about the local area and the whales we saw.
There was food to buy on board, I'd recommend trying the cinnamon bun - delicious.

Good but.. - I expected that there are orcas at this time of year, we would move and try to find them too. We saw some beautiful whales, but we stopped in one place and found others without any effort. But interesting professional explanation.
