Highlights
 • Sahadewa Barong Dance & Fire Dance - The Barong dance is the classic battle story of good (The Barong) against the evil (The evil witch Rangda). Barongs are figures in Balinese tradition, come in many forms. The most common one is like a baroque, Chinese lion, with big eyes and clacking jaws. It is one of the most sacred masks in Bali, usually played by two strong men. The most interesting part is at the end of the performance, some male dance get into trance condition and stabbing himself with a sharp “kris” traditional weapon.

Great tour of ubud with puta - We had an amazing cultural tour around Bali with our driver Puta who made sure we were always happy and well informed on every location. He spoke perfect English and took lots of photos for us. We ended up getting engaged at the rice terraces and Puta recorded the whole thing for us. We definitely recommend this tour.

We loved the tour. If you do it and... -
We loved the tour. If you do it and you don't feel like buying in the markets, ask for them not to take you to tourist traps, as there are a lot of places they could take you. The driver took us to many beautiful temples, to the incredible rice terraces, the monkey sanctuary and even to a volcano. If you want to say you visited Bali, this tour is a must. Also, you should plan to go to the Ulun Danu temple another day. Bali is amazing.

This tour was a great way to see... -
This tour was a great way to see Ubud in a day. Our driver/guide was very prompt, and he was super-informative. We could ask him anything about local culture or history, and he was able to tell us a great deal. I enjoyed seeing the arts villages and being able to do some shopping for batik, silver jewelry, paintings, and carvings as gifts. I loved going through Ubud and seeing the shops along the way of different arts and crafts, and the beautiful rice terraces were well worth a good walk around. Being able to visit the main temples around Ubud was also amazing, as we were nearing the full moon festival. The traditional dance was a great start to the day, giving us a sense of the history and religion in Bali. The monkey forest was a wonderful way to round out a long day of touring, as those mischievous imps are interesting to watch. Overall, I really recommend this tour - the guide is wonderful, the transport is comfortable and ample for a few people, and the day can be tailored a bit to what you want to see within reason.

This full day tour packed a lot in... -
This full day tour packed a lot in, but was a great way to see all of the major and not super touristy parts of Ubud and around Ubud. Our driver/guide was AMAZING we cannot remember his name for the life of us - so Viator if you know his name please let us know!! He took great care of us, was super knowledgeable about Bali, and knew the answers to all of my many questions about the places we explored and experienced. We loved him so much that we coordinated with him directly to drive us to Jimbaran for the second half of our trip. Overall this tour was great, and if you don't have much time in Ubud you should definitely book this tour. If you have more time in the area, you could spread everything out over a few days.

Thoroughly enjoyed our full day Ubud... -
Thoroughly enjoyed our full day Ubud Cultural Day Tour. It was an early start visiting Batik and hand weaving factory, Baronga and Keris Dance, silver and gold crafting, painting and wood outlets, Pagang Tegal Village, Batuan Temple, Ubud monkey forest, Tegalalang Rice Terrace and Gua Gajah Elephant Cave under the guidance of our very knowledgeable guide Igd Tinaya. It was a wonderful experience only down side was was travelling back to Seminkay in all the traffic. Good valuable for money, but be prepared for a long day.

Not bad but not blown away - We bought this excursion thinking we were getting explanations and details about the place we were visiting. We did not. Our driver was incredibly friendly but once we arrived at the planned locations we all 3 just got out. There wasn’t much guidance on where to go and what we were looking at. At the elephant cave, we were bombarded by people trying to sell us stuff. We asked our guide if we “needed” what she was selling to get into the temple and he shrugged his shoulders. Luckily we declined and they had things we needed for free to enter the temple. We actually cut our day short becaruse it was pretty long which could be a good or bad thing. Our guide was super understanding though and shuttled us back to Kuta. He was an incredibly nice person, like I said above, just not an incredible tour guide. The locations and such within the tour are all traditional when comparing other Ubud excursions.
