Visit to Chichen Itza - Everyone is going to want to sell you a tour. The ideal, if you haven't taken it before, is to go to the door and hire on the spot. Wear light clothing and use fresh liquid to hydrate yourself. A guide is essential to know the history. It was fantastic. There you can eat without problem, the values are reasonable.

Amazing tour - I did it with my teenager daughters and 4 of her friends from USA and they had an amazing time . The guide was very knowledgeable. It is a full day tour however very well organized. They stayed on schedule . The food was amazing. I will totally recommend this tour .

It was a very pleasant day - On the pricey side, but worth it! I had a pleasant day! I am all for budget traveling, but if I did it on my own, I don’t think I would’ve seen so much in one day. I also met some very nice people on my trip. I really have nothing bad to say- only the price I guess- but you get what you pay for (and this would’ve cost way more in the US)! It can get annoying when Mayans haggle you when you show a little interest in a souvenir, but if you let then know they’ll back off. They’re just trying to give security to their families. I wish I brought swimming shorts for when we visited that water whole. It was nice

BEST day trip adventure you can do while in Mexico! - My sister and I had SUCH an amazing time on this trip. It was an early morning but the tour did a great job of breaking up each excursion with an air conditioned bus ride to refresh. The cenote was charming, the ruins were incredible, and the old city gave us a taste of the culture. The whole day was an adventure to remember that I would absolutely recommend to friends and family. HUGE shout out to our tour guide Ruth, who was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and helpful in leading us throughout the day. We were very lucky to have her as our guide :) ¡Muchas gracias Ruth y Xcaret y hasta luego!

A SAFE AND GREAT EXPERIENCE! - This was a great experience, we really enjoyed the day visiting Tulum, Coba, the Cenote and Playa, all the team were fabulous and they were very helpful, the food was delicious and the cenote was an unforgettable experience, 100% recommended, the staff worked very hard to follow all the hygiene protocols to take care of us. Thanks for everything! Andrea S.

Recommended but could’ve been a bit better - Great tour. Sadly, we weren’t able to visit Valladolid bcz according to the tour guide the entry to the city wasn’t allowed during the New Year’s Eve. The Tour guide, Ivan, was very nice and welcoming however, he barely spoke English during his explanations. You’d understand the gist of everything but I would’ve just preferred to hear all the things he said about the Mayan history in English too. Cenote at the end was awesome, had lots of fun! All in all a good experience and I’d recommend it, although a bit expensive.

Great tour, but not enough English translation. - The tour said ENGLISH guides, but neither spoke English fluently and this meant we (the English speakers) got less than half the information and never knew where to meet or what was happening next. Very frustrating. The one lady guide was very friendly and tried her best to speak English to us and interpret what the other guide and locals were saying, but it fell short. Spanish talking for 30 minutes then we get 2 minutes of English. The trip made multiple stops for "opportunities" to spend more money on souvenirs. I would have preferred more historical time and less selling us to the local vendors. The tour was low cost and very good for what I wanted to see, Chichen Itza. Overall it was a very good experience, but more English would have helped. I would recommend it for Spanish speakers.

Prepare to be scammed - We had a good time but everything felt rushed and scammy. There wasn’t enough time to shop. But if you are after obsidian, buy it at the first place they stop for snacks. I had wanted to buy some obsidian there for $10 usd but Caesar, our guide said I should wait til we got to the ruins and it would be cheaper there. At the ruins, they tried to charge me $90 usd for the same rock! I had already missed my $10usd (u.s. dollars) rock, so ended up negotiating them down to $30 usd. I was bummed and felt misled by Caesar and his sellers that he had directed us to as being fair. They were anything but and really aggressive. The last stop to Valladolid was only about 15 minutes to shop after the Tequila taste testing. The trip has you believing it’s going to be a good deal for $44 but then you have to pay $30 cash for entrance to the event and then another $3 to rent an umbrella and then another few dollars for locker rentals and drinks are extra for the meal. It all adds up. I was more impressed with the 3 in 1 trip that had everything included in the price up front and included umbrellas. I also didn’t have to be worried about being left behind with that group. Nobody was left behind but because of the dishonesty with everything else it made me feel like it was a possibility, which he had warned could happen. They also try to get you to buy a Mayan calendar that they claim will give you detailed information about you and that is hand painted. Don’t do it. The detailed info isn’t translated well and it’s two sentences long. I was not impressed.

Zero star is possible - Experience was a disaster, ruined our vacation. We didn't get pick up from the hotel as the package described. A message via the viator web page didn’t responded. Most importantly, they threaten us to pay another 60 or they will leave us in the middle of no where. We refused, they even not giving us the ticket to chichen-itza. We feel life is in danger during the trip. Experience was a disaster, ruined our vacation. We didn't get pick up from the hotel as the package described.
