Excellent alternative to a ship based shore excursion - Excellent food tour and experience with our guide Jo! We were the only two on the tour and we really appreciated that it ran with just us. The smoked salmon at the Oso Bakery was some of the best I had and other highlights included Bon Macaron and the L'Apero Cheese Bistro. We'd definitely do other of their tours if we were in town longer.

Highly recommend!! - The tour guide was fun and knowledgeable, and the restaurants they took us to were delicious! There was way more food than we thought, we we're stuffed! And I was happy they accommodated a vegetarian :)

Even better than expected! - AJ was great and introduced us to several delectable foods that were unexpected, along with some very fine wine. It was a great tour, and very enjoyable with the new Canadian friends we met on the tour.

Perfect balance of walking & eating - Our guide, Brenda, was very knowledgeable about foodie Victoria. We loved the tour, the food, & the tidbits about local food deals as well as the discount card, which we have already used! We learned about restaurants we would never have discovered on our own. The other guests were interesting & friendly. It was a nice combination of walking & eating. If you don’t eat a lot, bring containers. I just had my leftovers for dinner. :)

Delicious and information stroll around downtown Victoria - The wine shop that specializes in BC wines which I knew nothing about, was very interesting and educational and the wine was good. Also Ate, the Filipino restaurant, was an interesting and delicious stop. The cheese shop, L’Apero, was also good and the owner gave us a short but informative explanation of the cheeses. Amazing chocolate shop too, learned about drinking chocolate (as opposed to hot chocolate) and delicious samples. At least three of us from our tour went back later. Our guide, Ben, kept everyone engaged and on pace to enjoy the whole tour. He’s a local who seems to really know the restrauranteurs and enjoy what he does.

Tasty food tour - We loved the food choices on this tour. Wide variety and delicious. The desserts were especially good like the frozen chocolate drink.

Nice tour - Nice tour. Guide was interesting. Thought it was strange that 1st food was in a mall food court, tho the sandwich was very good. No story to go with it. Food was plenty. We asked for vegetarian. Went to place that served something like a fried corny dog. Nice that they offered fried & battered cheese, but was fried in same oil as the meat, so we didn’t eat it. Enjoyed the wine & cheese tasting. Portions small here, but delicious.

Great way to learn a little more about Victoria - AJ was a great knowledgeable guide for our city tour, where we got a taste of the multicultural side of Victoria, from Korean, to Middle Eastern, to Mexican and French/Italian macarons. We were surprised at the portions and came away with full tummies and a better understanding of the history of the city. Best of both worlds - a bit of exercise to offset the calories lol.
