Arriving in late May, the river was flowing at a brisk 2100 CFS, setting the stage for a thrilling ride.
The journey began at the 32nd St Bridge, a popular river access point. As we set off, the river’s swift current carried us through the heart of Durango, a picturesque town nestled in the Rocky Mountains. The water was lively, with Class II rapids providing a gentle thrill and the occasional splash. It was the perfect introduction for both novices and seasoned adventurers alike.
