A Day of Laughter and History in León

The sun was just beginning to rise as I found myself in the vibrant city of León, Nicaragua, ready to embark on a journey through time with the Leon City and Ruins Tour tour. As a seasoned traveler and surfer, I’ve always been drawn to the stories that lie beneath the waves and the sands of Central America. This time, however, I was trading my surfboard for a pair of walking shoes, eager to explore the rich colonial history of León.

Standing amidst the ruins, with the majestic Momotombo Volcano looming in the background, I felt a deep connection to the land and its history.
