Enjoyable tour - A very enjoyable tour around tge area. Interesting commentary giving lots if historical information. Great views from the view point. Before we left the view point the driver asked if everyone was OK with him opening the roof which we were. Thoroughly enjoyable

Worked out fine for us - Hop on hop off bus was fine. Took us to the lookout spot. We saw the town. Was much cheaper than many of the cruise ship excursions.

Alesund hop on hop off - The sights offered were great especially the mountain top. The views were spectacular. The bus was comfortable and the information over the headphones was educational. Most important there were numerous buses running and the pick up times were on time. The QR code was great you could se where the buses were in real time and adjust your plans accordingly. I would use this service again.

A good way to see Alesund Norway - My wife and I took the Hop On Hop Off Sightseeing Bus in Alesund, Norway, as we were visiting the port by cruise ship. The bus route gave us an overall view of Alesund. Moreover we stopped at Aksla Viewpoint (Stop No. 3) saving us a difficult climb from the town below, as well as at The Art Nouveau Centre (Stop No. 6) where the views are very scenic.

Good experience with City Sightseeing Hop-on Hop-off - After reading some reviews, we were a bit concerned about how useful the hop-on hop-off would be. Fortunately, we were the only cruise ship in port so we had no problems getting the bus and getting off/on at several of the stops. I can imagine this would be a real problem if you happened to be there with more cruise ships - so check the port schedule beforehand. The buses were clean and prompt - the longest we waited was 15 minutes. The overall route is fairly short, but we thought it a reasonable way to get an overview of the town and were satisfied.

Abandoned by hop on hop off - We arrived there on the "Mein Schiff 3". Basically a great idea with the hop on hop off. Through everything and everything on your own. ABER: We went to the Alesund aquarium at 2.30 pm. The opening hours of the aquarium are until 4 pm. So it is assumed that you will be picked up by bus shortly after 4 pm... As the company advertises ensuring that you are back at the port no later than one hour before the cruise ship departs... Blow cake... So we were standing at the A... of the world waiting in vain for this bus. Fortunately there was a tour group of our ship who took us back to the ship. Otherwise we would have missed our ship. It's a pity that this isn't regulated differently with hop on hop off.

Don't Bother - Don't bother with this hop on off bus. Very overcrowded and long waits for buses Driver was extremely rude to the passengers screaming at them Earplugs were static and could hardly hear anything. I sent the company an email complaining and the didn't respond until I threatened to give them a negative review Refused to compensate us at all Not worth the money. . Terrible customer service

Horrible - Awful. Bus drivers were rude and unfriendly. Didn’t announce stops so we missed a stop we wanted to get off. We’re not consistent with where the buses picked up and drop off people were running up and down the sidewalk from one stop to the next because the drivers stopped in different places. I normally have good experiences with the hop on hop off buses but not in Alesund. Dont waste your money. Spring for a taxi
