If you are visiting London, this is a much needed service - This is a must if you are visiting London, takes you everywhere you need to go. Their staff is excellent especially Albion who helped explain all the ‘must see’ attractions.

TopView London 24-hour tour was a good choice during cold weather - Note - there are six different companies offering hop-on, hop-off tours on different routes in London. We only used this one and cannot advise you if this one is better or worse than its five competitors. We visited London during the last week of December. Since it was cold outside, this seemed a good option to see many sites and stay a little warmer. The ticket is good for 24 hours from the time you purchase it. Your ticket is time-stamped when printed. We took the red line tour on one afternoon and the blue line tour on the following morning. The list price was 49 pounds per person. My wife asked for a senior citizen discount, and we got the tickets for 39 pounds per person. At that time, 39 British pounds was about 49 US dollars. Try asking for a discount when you are purchasing. Note - they do not provide heat for the passengers, even on the lower level of the bus. Only the driver gets heat. We would not consider sitting on the open-air upper level during such cold weather. Sitting on the lower level, your view of the sites is limited by the size and shape of the windows and your choice of seat. The pre-recorded audio is available in 14 languages. Each passenger takes earphones and plugs them in to hear the audio. Each passenger can choose a language and set audio volume to his liking. We only used English language audio. Sometimes they provide interesting historical information, but mostly they provide references to recent cultural figures - "this is where a scene from a Harry Potter film took place" or "this is the hotel where Mohammed Ali celebrated his 60th birthday". If you have ample time in London during good weather, and you like to exercise, you can get around to these sites by walking. But if your time is short or the weather is cold or raining, or you cannot walk long distances, this tour is a good choice.

False information - Mixed reviews Great idea and a good way to see London but … No tour guide on the bus. We was left stranded on the blue route number 26 outside the V&A. No bus came for 1 hour when I called. The call operator was useless on a a premium number, it took him 2 phone calls and over 12 minutes to tell me no buses are running. We apparently missed the last one apparently. It was only 4:20pm, when you go on the app and they sell it you you are able to get on the bus until 6pm and they come every 25mins!! This is false advertising. For £25 each I would recommend just getting on a normal bus.

Better alternatives out there - Total rip off this company. You wait 20-30 minutes for a bus while other companies buses have at least three busses go past. Commentary very short and poor. All the other companies seem to run a more efficient service. I would stay away!

Fuck! - We paid 59 pounds per person for an overcrowded bus that sat over 20 min in an anonymous street amidst the smog. Bad assistance (we were given twice incorrect directions on the stop) Panoramic tour that has very little panoramic. Most of the time you stop in traffic. I wouldn't recommend it, it's wasted money!

Bad company - Busses were promised every 15 minutes. Every guide who we asked where the buss is said "its here in 5 mins", and after that we waited 30 mins more. Both rounds were supposed to last combined under 4 hours, we got off quickly only 3 times and whole 10-18 was wasted and couldnt even finish rounds. Also drivers had multiple 15 min breaks middle of driving out of nowhere.

Never again! - On New Year's Eve a ticket bought at 11:35. We did get a small discount because that day the bus only ran until 4.30pm with the guarantee that a full tour could still be done anyway.More stationary than driven, not even half of the tour can do. Dismounted at 13:30 to quickly eat a bite at St. Louis. Pauls Cathedral. When we went back at 2pm we were told that no more tour could be done but that we could email or call for a refund. Staff member Matt was very friendly and said that this was not a normal situation, we only sat on the bus for 2 hours and then stood still constantly, and that we would get a refund. Filed a complaint but receive no compensation. We can use our tickets on a later day. Unfortunately we don't come to London anymore and for 3 adults and 1 child we lost 130 pounds. What a waste of money. The buses of other companies ran even further. For us, never Topview again. Never again!
