Celina is amazing! - Celina & crew were very friendly, and made us feel welcome. The whole trip was so fun and unique, we took a van to the lagoon, then took a boat out to experience the warm water and beautiful, soft sand. Then we had an authentic meal on the dock, and then got to experience the beach as well. Snacks and tequila along the way! Lots of smiles and laughs and good information. Would highly recommend this tour!

Authentic, Relaxing, Fun! - Picked this excursion on our Royal Caribbean - Enchantment of the Seas cruise Jan 2025. If you are looking for an authentic, relaxing and laid back experience then this is the one. My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of spending the day with Selena and her colleagues. Our group was small (6 guests total), we were treated like friends but also extremely professionally! All hosts were kind, gracious and prioritized our needs. The hour drive to the lagoon was comfortable, air conditioned and we stopped for local food which was delicious. Along the way Selena provided knowledge on the history of the area we were spending the day and got to know us as well. We spent the day swimming, eating, laughing and drinking tequila! A few tips: 1.) Give yourself extra time and get off the ship early! You must leave the port area (shops, bars) entirely and walk a little bit to find them. They operate outside of the port. There are many people who know them, just ask for Chak Ek and keep walking in that direction. You can only go one direction out. It isn’t far and there are several companies that have to operate this way so you will see many people walking in the same direction out. Also, the area is guarded by armed military police so don’t be alarmed. Someone from Chak Ek will meet you and walk you to the area where you meet your guides, etc. we made it to them just in time for the van to leave at 9 AM. (I assume tour star/end times are different based on the different ships embarkment/disembarkment times on different days) 2.) If you are there on a Wednesday the sink holes are closed to the public so this portion of the excursion is changed.

Bacalar Lagoon with Chak ek - Excellent tour. Our guide was Selena. She was amazing and attentive to any details during the tour. We visit the Cenotes and finish in the Pirate channels. Most beautiful laggon have ever seen. After the boat trip, we went to a restaurant nearby for lunch. I tried four tacos combo with hot sauces, delicious.

Fun time at the Bacalar Lagoon - Really great experience with the tour provider. Juan was a great tour host and the whole team there did a great job. Went out on a boat to the Lagoon and then came back and had a delicious lunch. They worked with us on our schedule as we wanted to get back and do some shopping. Great people to work with. It does take about an hour plus to get to Lagoon so keep that in mind as you plan your day.

Lagoon boat ride - Our guide Celine was what made this a 5 star. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Tour was a good way to see the countryside, take a 2 hour pontoon boat ride on the lagoon, and experience an authentic Mexican lunch. The only drawback was that it was a 30 minute hike from the cruise ship to the tour pickup point and they were very hard to locate.

Family fun - The best excursion our whole trip. Selena our guide Was engaging, friendly, and fun. We stopped in pineapple town and she bought us fresh fruits and vegetables to enjoy while on the lagoon. The water was beautiful and refreshing. Food and the company was delightful. The whole family had fun. The kids asked when we could go back just to hang out with Selena and go to the lagoon again.

Interesting experience - The day was rainy and the weather was bad. Maybe we went and had a great time. Our Celina guide was exceptional and managed to make sure that no matter the weather to have an interesting day. The only thing I was left with was that on Wednesday (our tour day) the cenotes are closed and we were informed of this the day before the tour. I wanted to go see them! For the future, if you are making a reservation for that day, once warn that you will not be able to visit the cenotes so you do not have expectations of seeing something that will not take place. Otherwise it was a nice day and the sky cleared. I wish to express my appreciation to the fabulous Celina guide, rarely one finds a person so fabulous and passionate about what he does and was the one who allowed our tour to be so exceptional and very well attended

Great tour of 7 colors lagoon! - We had an amazing excursion to the 7 colors Lagoon! Our guide, Selena was knowledgeable and fun. She was truly exceptional. It was a small group- only 8 of us. The lagoon was absolutely beautiful. We visited 3 cenotes and then had time to swim. We were served the most delicious honey pineapple. Our tacos were amazing. After the lagoon and lunch, we had a little time, so Selena took us to a lovely beach. Great, well-organized tour. Got us back to our cruise ship with time to spare. Highly recommend!
