Leo is the best! - Leo was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and made the experience so much fun! We'd book an excursion with him again anytime.

Best excursion in Costa Maya! - I recently took the Chachobben and Bacalar tour with my family (grandparents, husband and two young kids) as an excursion in lieu of an excursion from our cruise and it was great. We were with another family of 6 but the small group made it more personable. I was scared on how it would be with two young kids but they made us comfortable and were very flexible. We had Chucky as our driver and Leo as our tour guide and he was so knowledgeable! His explanations made the whole trip more special. From start to end, everything was great including the places, food(amazing tacos) and drinks. Even had tequila shots and snacks in between! If we ever come back I would love to book through them again. 10/10 recommend.

Chacchoben ruins and Bacalar lagoon was great! - Had a great and very interesting and informative tour of the Chacchoben ruins and Bacalar lagoon. Leo was our main guide and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and thoughtful. My wife was sick with a little food poisoning during most of the tour, and Leo was very attentive and supportive throughout the tour. The ruins were really cool, and the lagoon, cenotes and sand bars were fantastic and beautiful. All in all a great day!

Myanmar ruin and lagoon boat ride - Francisco our tour guide was fantastic. Wonderful use of the English language, knowledgeable about the Mayans and the ruins as well as the entire area. Good sense of humor and just a joy to spend the day with.

A Perfect Day at Chacchoben & Bacalar – Highly Recommend! - Our experience on the Chacchoben & Bacalar Combo Excursion booked through Viator was absolutely incredible and far exceeded our expectations. Pollo and Leo, our guides, were phenomenal—they were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day feel effortless and fun. The day started with a visit to the stunning Mayan ruins at Chacchoben. One of the highlights was how peaceful it was; thanks to Pollo and Leo's timing, we were able to explore without the crowds, making the experience all the more magical. They provided excellent insights into the history and culture of the area, which added so much depth to our visit. Next, we headed to Bacalar, where the fun continued with boating and playing in the crystal-clear waters. The lagoon was breathtaking, and having time to relax and enjoy the natural beauty was exactly what we hoped for. The local tequila tasting was another highlight, offering a unique and authentic flavor of the region. Lunch was a feast of local tacos, and I have to say, they were some of the best I’ve ever had. The combination of delicious food, great company, and stunning surroundings made this a meal to remember. This was hands down the best excursion I’ve ever been on. The balance of adventure, relaxation, and authentic experiences was perfect, and Pollo and Leo ensured every moment was enjoyable. I can’t recommend this excursion enough—it’s a must-do if you’re visiting the area! Thank you, Pollo and Leo, for an unforgettable day!

Very attentive - Great tour. Very attentive and personable. Was perfect for my family of 6 with young children. Was planned all according to our needs and wants as a family. Was based on our time and how we wanted to spend it!

ABOVE AND BEYOND - Our tour guide was Leo and driver was Julio. WE COULD NOT OF ASKED FOR A BETTER DUO. Starting off our cruise ship did not properly announce when we were able to disembark causing us to be 30 min late. Both Julio and Leo were patient and waited for us to get there. We are 3 people, my daughter (3 years old), wife and I. LEO is EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE and was very informative, and personable. Throughout the entire excursion he went out of his way to make sure everyone to include my 3 year old were comfortable and enjoying the trip. Julio was an amazing driver, getting us everywhere earlier than anticipated resulting in us having more time to do things at the stops. Julio stopped at a local vendor and bought everyone pineapple and bananas to share. It.honestly felt like a family trip.

Excellent customer service! - I came across Chac Ek Costa Maya while searching Tripadvisor for a ruins/lagoon excursion. I emailed them directly a few times with several questions, and Tino responded very promptly each time, without being pushy about me signing up for a tour. The itinerary sounded very good and the price was reasonable (even a bit less) compared to other tour operators. I felt confident that we would be in good hands for a fun day with Chac Ek, and so I signed up myself and two other family members. Unfortunately, I had an accident a little more than a week before my trip and had to cancel the excursion, along with my entire trip. Tino was very sympathetic and sent good vibes for my recovery, and so I wanted to give him a shout out for his wonderful and professional demeanor throughout our email conversations. If I ever make it to Costa Maya, I will certainly try again to go on an excursion with Chac Ek Costa Maya.
